If you are planning a visit to Whitefish Point area, I strongly suggest staying at "The Bear Den". Amanda and Jason have put a lot of time into the place and it shows. They are A+ host IMO. Both of them are easy too communicate with, check in / check out was a breeze. The online concierge is very useful tool with loads of valuable information. The home and location made for a perfect Base Glamp with my group of outdoor adventurers. Hardest part of the experience was convincing myself it was time to leave. One Destination I definitely plan on returning too.

My wife and I booked this rental for a 30th Wedding Anniversary getaway and to see the fall colors. This is a great house in a great location. It is very well stocked with everything one would need. Our favorite part of the house was the breezeway with the table where we would eat and had a great view of Whitefish Bay while doing so. There was even a pair of binoculars there to see the freighters out in the bay. We made several day trips during the week visiting many State Parks and looked forward to returning to grill our supper. We had an issue related to a storm that came through early in our stay. After contacting Brooke, she made arrangements to get a repair made and it happened promptly. Brooke kept in contact with us to make sure everything was fixed. She is a great host of this wonderful property. We had a delightful time during our stay and hated to leave when the week was done. We highly recommend this great property that has a great host. Thank you, Brooke!

9 days was not long enough! Next time we hope to book a little longer. Once you’re there, you can’t leave. It’s that amazing. Worth every penny. Kai & Emily were excellent hosts and super accommodating. Spent some quality time both outside and inside, and lucked out with temps in the mid twenties and sunshine. If you have a canoe or kayaks, be sure to bring them. If you don’t, we promise you will regret it. Plan is to return for future conferences in the Soo and no matter what comes up, we will do our best to book again during the fall colour blitz. It’s beyond breathtaking. We took our family up to snow mobile from GA, luckily the snow was perfect for our trip. The house location is near enough to everything, bars, grocery, casinos, airport, trails and snowmobile rentals out of Strongs. We had an amazing stay. The house has its quirks but we settled in nicely. Everyone had their own room (4 couples) with beds to spare. The kitchen was perfect for family meals and dining, playing games and spending quality time. Lake Superior is literally at the end of the driveway with more accommodations if needed. We had fires in the fireplace most nights, Kevin provided plenty of firewood, since it did get into the single digits and negative temps. The beds were comfy and linens were of good quality. We enjoyed reading other guests comments in the welcome book too. This trip was an overall success and we are grateful to have had such inviting quarters to come home to every night of our 7 day stay. Highly Recommend!

Excellent house and location for our ATV/Side by Side riding group. There was plenty of parking for us to park trucks and trailers and unload. The owners have a nice wide drive way going back in the woods and a clearly marked sign by the road for us to find the location. Trails were easily accessible for us to take off and go trail riding from the house without having to trailer to a designated parking lot. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Great property to stay at!

Great place to watch sunsets and moon sets Was a short drive to botanical gardens to watch freighters come through and take a walk Locks were apx an hours drive away and full of animals to see on the way Only downside was restaurants not close by so be prepared to drive 30 to 45 mins or take the ferry if you want to dine out We had everything we needed to cook both inside and out and grill or use the fire pit for food We enjoyed the house and lake so much we didn’t want to leave we only left the house one day to go explore and check out the locks Will be booking again Thank you for sharing your house we left relaxed and recharged

We really loved our stay it was really cute, cozy and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. A really big yard which our dog loved. Our dog had a blast meeting all the neighbors dogs too. Neighbors were really friendly. We loved fishing & kayaking the lake, it was beautiful. Lana & Larry were very helpful & quick to respond. Our only downfall was not booking it for another night. 😊 we would love to come back next summer.

The Huron Shores cabin was the perfect get away for my family. The beach is amazing, a rock hunters dream. And perfect for star gazing at night. The cabin was cozy, well equipted and felt like home as soon as we walked in. My children loved catching frogs, playing board games, and all around un plugging from tech for the weekend. we will definately save this Air BNB as somewhere to go back to!

Great little cabin with water views. This place was just like the add and played like the other reviews. Michael was great with local ideas. He was very friendly and was nice to meet him and his wife. The place was really "solid". We came in Oct during a cold snap and it was in the 30's for low and 40's for highs and the place felt cozy and the wind over 20 you could not even tell. We have stayed in cabins in the UP and when it was cold the wind blew right thru the place. Here even by son was like this place feels more solid than the Eagle Harbor cabin last year. Very clean, nice sheets. I felt the bed maybe harder than normal but I am picky. Boys and wife were fine. we used the firepit, was nice there was some wood there. Easy to gather kindleing as well to get it started. So that was nice. Great little cabin and it's quiet. 2 boys had the TV on vol 3 with the closed caption on and we never heard them really even talking at night since we went to bed first. Nice place.
