My colleague and I were in town for a few days for a conference and were super comfortable at Deven’s place! It was nice to have the separation/ privacy of the two units. The place was really nice- comfy furniture, super clean bathroom, and great hosts who were super communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend!

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

This was my first experience with air bnb. Nicole and her husband were super easy to book with. Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at their airBnB. Very clean and had all of the amenities and then some for a cozy family camping trip . What an amazing location to stay! We unfortunately had a medical emergency during our stay and Nicole and her husband were both so kind and hospitable offering us help if we needed it. I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay with more friendly hosts. If you’re thinking about booking do not hesitate!!

We loved the cabin! The view is AMAZING--the lake is right off the deck, with stunning views from the bedroom and living room any time of day. It was halfway between Sault Ste. Marie and Pancake Bay, making either easy to get to, and it had everything the two of us could need. We would come back any time!

This location and house are amazing. The views from the crowsnest were a bonus. This is the place to be if one is fortunate enough to stay there when northern lights would be visible (the ever-present clouds over Canada prevented us from being so lucky). Monitoring an aurora site and marine traffic app is a must. I am so thankful that the steepness of the stairs was clear so that I was able to block them (pizza boxes from Superior Pizza came in handy) so that my curious pup could not try to go up - he would have definately gotten hurt trying to do so because of his size and how his pads would slide on the painted wood. Also, because we travel with our dog we routinely bring our own sheets, blankets and pillows to use on top of those provided at rentals I have to do something with all decorative pillows - this place has plenty. The ledges in the bedroom closets are a brilliant solution to living out of a suitcase! Loved this place

Absolutely loved this house. It was cozy & clean & had everything we needed. It was so comfortable & felt like home away from home. John's instructions were very simple & easy to follow, especially the Espresso machine which we had never used before. It made very delicious coffee! If this house is available for our future trips to the Sault, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you John!

Cabin was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a neutral boho, calm yoga type vibe. Easy to find right off a couple main roads, yet very private. There are so many places to sleep! But a single small bathroom might be a draw back from renting this one for a large group. It worked great for our group of three though! We visited during the off season, which I didn’t realize meant we would not see the beach or bay water. It was covered with snow and ice for miles! And we got snowed in after about 10 inches of fresh snow fell over night. Since the nearest open store was a 50 minute drive back to Sault St. Marie, we had planned ahead so had plenty of food and drinks to hunker down for a day or two. But the home owner was responsible and had a truck come run tracks down the drive for us to get out if we needed to. It was all so lovely and we took advantage of it, even read my book out in the hammock all bundled up. The snow and ice was just not what I had expected.

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

We had a lovely stay at Mackinac Vista. The surroundings on the lake are beautiful and private. The kitchen is very well equipped. The fireplace adds a wonderful ambiance on snowy days. While the cabin feels remote there are a couple of small towns with cute restaurants within a 20 minute drive. I would highly recommend this cabin as the perfect spot to decompress.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Robin’s cabin. The cottage was clean, spacious and cozy, exactly as described. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of space for activities on the property, as well as nearby trails to explore. Robin and her family were very helpful and responsive to any questions that we had, and did everything they could to make our visit comfortable and relaxing. We are very much looking forward to visiting again in the future!

We had an amazing weekend getaway as a family! The pull out couch was perfect for two little boys and the bed in the room was very comfortable! Even with the massive amounts of snow the beach was beautiful and there were so many rocks to check out. 3 minutes down the road was a beautiful lighthouse and a long stretch of beach for when the boys needed to run it out. Plenty of hiking trails around the area and just under an hour to the falls which we love! Stephanie was such a delight everytime I had any questions. She responded quickly to everything and I could just sense that she had such love for her space and loved to share it with others. I’ve never felt like a host was so genuine and I wasn’t just receiving automated messages. Lastly, delicious pizza spot 10 minutes down the road, we had pizza 2/3 nights we stayed here. This cabin was such a treat even in the off season.

9 days was not long enough! Next time we hope to book a little longer. Once you’re there, you can’t leave. It’s that amazing. Worth every penny. Kai & Emily were excellent hosts and super accommodating. Spent some quality time both outside and inside, and lucked out with temps in the mid twenties and sunshine. If you have a canoe or kayaks, be sure to bring them. If you don’t, we promise you will regret it. Plan is to return for future conferences in the Soo and no matter what comes up, we will do our best to book again during the fall colour blitz. It’s beyond breathtaking. What a beautiful and amazing weekend we spent at Spruce cabin. Robin and her family made us feel right at home, complete with daily visits from their sweet dog! Robin’s property is absolutely beautiful, the rest and relaxation we felt was so necessary and exactly when you look for when getting out of Toronto for a trip up north. Robin shared lots of local hiking trails and scenic drives, and surprised us with some fresh cherry tomatoes from the community garden I got to enjoy with breakfast. This is a property that we can see ourselves visiting yearly, especially during the beautiful fall colours. Spruce was well lit, and warm in the evenings thanks to the heaters. The screened in porch was perfect for reading and taking in the lake view. The lake was calm, serene and they provided canoes, kayaks and SUPs (along with life jackets), that my husband enjoyed very much. If you see an open weekend here at Spruce ( or any cabin on the property) BOOK IT! Thank you again, Robin!

We stayed at Pond #8 which was a short drive from the main resort. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities because we enjoyed our cabin so much! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect wilderness getaway. The staff at check in/out were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer.

We had a great stay at Tristan's home on St Joe's Island. The host was great for communication, everything was as described and clean. The home has a beautiful view and directly on the water with a wonderful fireplace, sauna and hot tub. We had a great family gathering and would stay again.

Even though they weren't able to fix the no water issue while i was there, they had offered to make up for it on another visit. They were even willing to extend my stay, sadly i was unable to do so.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

This is the most fully equipped kitchen we have seen in all our Airbnb's so far. We were able to cook the basics with simple seasonings and commonly used sauces on hand. Everything I needed to do some home baking for our son while we visited him at college. Very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. This place was exactly what we needed as a home base to spend time with our very busy aviation student between his classes and flights.
