Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sault Ste. Marie

From one of the guests this past weekend...we had a great time in this dog friendly home. Very tidy and cozy. It was perfect. The host was very understanding and awesome to work with. She answered our questions and made it easy and worry free. Thank you Lorie!!!

This place was something for sure. Very well done with tons of thought put in everywhere you look. You have to see it to truly appreciate that the hosts definitely did everything they could to make a stay there over the top enjoyable!!!!!

Kelli’s place was perfect! I usually stay at hotels when in the Soo but decided to try this and so glad we did! Great location and cute place! Kelli is very responsive and kind. I would love to come back to this awesome Airbnb in the future! Thank you for your hospitality!

Cabin was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a neutral boho, calm yoga type vibe. Easy to find right off a couple main roads, yet very private. There are so many places to sleep! But a single small bathroom might be a draw back from renting this one for a large group. It worked great for our group of three though! We visited during the off season, which I didn’t realize meant we would not see the beach or bay water. It was covered with snow and ice for miles! And we got snowed in after about 10 inches of fresh snow fell over night. Since the nearest open store was a 50 minute drive back to Sault St. Marie, we had planned ahead so had plenty of food and drinks to hunker down for a day or two. But the home owner was responsible and had a truck come run tracks down the drive for us to get out if we needed to. It was all so lovely and we took advantage of it, even read my book out in the hammock all bundled up. The snow and ice was just not what I had expected.

David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

This place was adorable, clean and right next to the snowmobile trail. It was perfect for our snowmobiling crew. Julia was very responsive when we reached out to her. The driveway was plowed as needed without us even asking. And, because our dogs love vacationing with us, it is great that it is pet-friendly🐾❤️

Glenn and Sonja’s beautiful home was perfect for our family gathering over the Easter weekend. The loft area was the highlight for the kids, and the well-equipped kitchen was much appreciated by the adults. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our large group, and a nice mix of large gathering areas and places to go for peace and quiet. We will definitely be trying to book their place again the next time our family gets together!

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

This place looks a little odd from the outside but it is very cool inside! It was well stocked and super clean and the nice backyard with deer and fox running around was magical. The driveway was pure mud but we hit the spring thaw and that is to be expected. We would definitely stay here again!

It was so comfy when walking in and a much needed 'home away from home' vibe. A cozy feel and Alan was so flexible to our situation. We headed up to Sault Saint to escape the ice storm blackout and didn't know how long we'd have to stay. Alan was a delight and extremely helpful. I would recommend! It was 5 - 7 minutes from all the stores in town as well, so not super out of the way either.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy loft! The loft was very clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay. The information binder was a great resource for suggesting hiking trails. There is a restaurant next door available for takeout. It did close at 6pm this time of year, so check their hours. The General Store (right next door) has delicious and fresh apple fritters! A must try! The host was friendly and very responsive! We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!!! :)

Great cozy and comfortable apartment. Small kitchen but was perfect to cook some quick meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and even had a fan in one bedroom. I was also nice to have the laundry available. Allison was quick to respond and worked with us to extend our stay due to an ice storm. It was a great place to decompress after long days at a conference.

Great location. Clean and spacious place. Had everything I needed during my stay. The owner was very kind and helpful.

This is my second stay at Don's family camp, and I'll continue to book here when it's available. Don is one of the most responsive hosts I've know, and I've stayed in over 30 Airbnb's. If you're looking for something remote, but still have basic amenities plus a couple extra perks like a sauna and outdoor fire pit ... this is the place. If phone and internet service are critical, you might want to look south of the Mackinac Bridge. For my needs, I hope Don and his family continue to share their camp.

This cabin was even better than we expected. Very spacious and ready to accommodate all of our needs. If you want a place to truly relax and enjoy the company of your own guests, with the option, via a short ferry ride, of access to a historic modern city, then this place is something you will consider a unique find.

I want to give this property zero stars... if only to discourage anyone else from booking, so that I can have it for myself. Ryan and Shana were great to communicate with and were very responsive to any concerns or inquiries. The hike into the property can be a bit of grind if it's not something you're used to... but it is absolutely worth it. This cabin truly is off-grid; don't expect to be watching any YouTube on your phone. You won't need to anyway, as the surroundings are absolutely spectacular. With no human activity for miles around, you can truly appreciate the sights and sounds of nature. The bees buzzing amongst the golden rod; the squirrels scurrying across the forest floor gathering food for the winter; the call of the loon that can be heard clear across the lake. The entire experience is ethereal, and is not to be missed. Do not hesitate. Book this cabin. Or don't, so that I can.

There’s so much to say about this place. Is private, gorgeous, and extremely cozy. Nestled in the woods, and off the busy roads, this was an amazing stay. Scott was very responsive, and was flexible with my schedule. Satellite Internet was ample. Plenty of firewood to keep a fire going, as well as individual temperature control in rooms if you don’t want to build a fire. I felt at home, and loved my stay.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

This little slice of Paradise was exactly what we needed for a group weekend getaway. It was the perfect size for 5 adults and a dog. Having the heated garage area was so nice while we took off our layers of snow gear and for keeping wet boots out of the house but somewhere for them to dry. The cabin is a great central location for a lot of different day trips if you're planning on exploring. Chirron was very helpful and responsive. The cabin was the perfect place to get away from it all and recharge. We hope to come back again soon!

Everything was awesome , rustic cabin with beautiful scenery and friendly people. Would definitely recommend!

Couldn't say enough good things.....quite honestly I don't want to leave a good review and encourage others to stay here as I want to keep this little 'hidden gem' hidden for future use! I would certainly stay again and it was such a comfortable, very hospitable, beautiful home.
