Cottage vacation rentals in Sarasota County

We stayed at Marc's apartment with our two small children and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed just like home. It was just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful and not overly crowded beach. Marc's place provided all the beach essentials like umbrellas and chairs, which made our beach visits even more enjoyable. Additionally, it was only a 5-10 minute walk to the free trolley, which took us to the Siesta village in no time and was a great fun ride for the kids. The superintendent was very nice and hospitable, providing us with great information about the local area. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend Marc's apartment for a a nice relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful time, the unit was clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and beach supplies. We always had quick responses from Dave. It's at a great location, but very quiet and peaceful. It was fully stocked with all we needed and more! Easy check in and late check out was possible for our afternoon flight. That was super handy. 👌 We definitely would stay at again!

A very cute, comfortable, clean and exceptionally appointed cottage. Brian is a wonderful host. We really enjoyed our stay there and look forward to visiting again. The SOS facility is a great place for family stays and is a major plus as well.

This was a very enjoyable stay. They reached out to us prior to arriving to see if there was anything that we would need. They were communicative during our state to see if there was anything else we needed and offered a late check-in as we were closing on a house the day we were supposed to check out without us, asking. Asking. And hot tub were clean quiet and a very private setting. Recommend this stay for anybody.

We stayed for six nights, each day bringing a new adventures. There is a spectacular pool a jacuzzi that won us over immediately. The weather was ideal for spending time in the pool, and floating on a lounger. We brought two and had a blast just relaxing. Everything you need is close by, restaurants, and shopping, grocery stores, and many different beaches to choose from. Our dog was with us so we mainly stayed close to home after breakfast when the asphalt and sand were too hot. We found a perfect restaurant that accepted dogs for breakfast called Sun Gardens. The food and atmosphere were delightful. I guess I could go on and on, but I will simply say, we plan to stay at Lara’s Oasis again in the future.

Throughly enjoyed the stay at Attila’s. He was very responsive, accommodating, and the listing was true to description. Friendly and active environment that I’d love to come back and visit! Highly recommend booking with this host!

Easy check in and check out. Very private space and very secure with the security gate. Felt right at home! My friend and I have stayed here multiple times and it’s great every time!

We loved the house! We felt right at home. Close to the village and short walk to the beach. We went daily for beach time and nightly for sunsets! Pool is awesome! Backyard is awesome! Will for sure stay again!

Super pet friendly place. The fenced and private yard for the dogs was perfect and 100% escape proof. Paris is a great communicator and super helpful, even printing a document for me super fast when I couldn’t get my printer to work. Kitchen has the basics. Good shower and plenty of towels. Washer/dryer in the unit was so handy. Decent private parking. Lots of beautiful tropical plants all around. Close to Walmart for groceries.

I had an extended stay at Carroll's place and it was a perfect location for me. Peaceful. comfortable, and different. I was amazed at watching Rich blowing glass, and Carroll's wonderful paintings were delightful on the walls of the cottage. It was a great place to relax when I was not out on the run or sightseeing or relaxing and walking on the beach. I was there over Christmas and they made me part of their family. Carroll was a delightful host and I am glad to have her as a friend as well.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and so glad we found this perfect gem! We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location in a beautiful and walker friendly neighborhood close to downtown and the beaches. The cottage was comfy and clean. Easy check in and communication. Would come back :)

From the moment our tires hit the shell driveway, it felt like coming home! A quick trip across the bridge to Detwiler's Farm Market for groceries and we were set for our week in paradise! The lush tropical setting and beautiful private beach were a constant source of peaceful tranquility, and the pristine pool was the perfect refresher after a lovely day on the beach. Boogie boards for playing in the surf and a tropical gazebo area for a seat in the shade made for hours in a mind-soothing space. Dolphins and even a manatee along with multiple seabirds completed the true tropical vibe! The cottage was the perfect size, super comfy, well appointed with everything you needed and the walk in shower gave us a great idea for a home remodel project! Al, Ilene, and Fannie, (their beautiful dog) thank you for sharing your home and your beautiful paradise with us! We will definitely be back

We loved our stay there, beautiful neighborhood, Ringling was amazing, unique restaurants, Sarasota is great! The reserve/Cottage is a wonder place to stay and explore the area.

Punit's home was amazing...from the decor to the bed and sheet comfort to the design of the home. It had everything I needed for a week that was a mix of work and a "staycation." Nice and quiet also ... I got great rest there and also enjoyed my morning walks. Close to everything!

The bamboo cottage was great! Perfectly located, as it is a short distance to siesta key beach. Jeffrey and Alexander were very responsive during our stay and helped us with minor needs during our trip. They went above and beyond. The cottage is private and cozy. They also let us check in early, which was a major convenience. Highly recommend!

Great location! Walking distance to the village, shopping, and the beach. The cottage is immaculately kept and had absolutely everything we needed. It was obvious that extreme care was put into providing even the smallest item you may need during your stay. The balloon wheel cart came in very handy for trips to the beach! Jim was very friendly and checked on us a couple of times to ensure we had all we needed and provided some useful recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about the "Surf Shack" and we would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed here before for a shorter time. It felt like coming home this time. The cottage is so well equipped and Lauren is so helpful. They responded really quickly if we needed anything. The air con and fans kept it at a perfect temperature. It is 2 mins to drive and see the sun set at the beach, or to a restaurant (Pops Sunset Grill). Plenty of parking and we could keep the car in the shade when it was hot. When we come back to this area we will definately stay here.

We stayed in the All Hands On Deck cottage and it was fantastic in every aspect. Gur is very responsive when needed. The cottage is about a block from the beach, lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We will back again soon!

This was our second stay in this lovely home in the delightful Pinecraft community. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the neighborhood and there was easy access to everything we needed and places we chose to visit. The beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was helpful with my mobility issues. We appreciated the washer & dryer also. Our host, Carolyn was kind and responsive. We are already planning our third stay here!

We loved our stay. Kelly was very helpful from the time we arrived with a complete tour of the property. She was always available with a quick response to any questions we had. The cottage was updated , clean , and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a quite peaceful location away from the crowds and yet close to beaches and restaurants then this is the place.
