Pet-friendly vacation rentals in São Domingos de Rana

This place really has a great view. You can see some of Sintras amazing castles from the back yard ( if its not foggy, which is common in this area). The location is very peaceful, great running trails ( lots of hills) and a functional grill. If you have a car it’s always parking available on the street. The house had everything we needed and would definitely come back if we would stay in Sintra again.

Modern 2-bedroom apartment right in the centre of Trafaria village, just a short walk to the Tejo river front and ferry to Lisbon (Belém terminal). The apartment has been renovated to a high standard and is very well equipped with everything that you need for short or even longer stays. AC is a plus in winter. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Convenient check-in with keypad and good communication via the app. Nice small touches like a bottle of wine, and sweets/snacks as well as condiments to cook. The apartment is pet friendly, we stayed with our medium size dog and felt very welcome.

Patricia’s home is a perfect spot to enjoy Sintra, with two master suites separated by the main living space, it was perfect for me and a pal (or could be for 2 couples) to have our own space. It was walkable to all the sites and the incredible local restaurants steps away. We highly recommend The Nest and would return again if lucky enough to visit this area of Portugal again!

Very welcoming rustic accommodation. Well-equipped, there is nothing lacking. Anabela took care to put the heater throughout the accommodation for a pleasant arrival taking into account the weather at this time of year. The configuration of the rooms allows you to spend a friendly time with family or groups of friends. The added bonus is the Pool Table. The area is quiet with parking right in front. We still took a rental car so we could get around more easily. Well located for access to the highway, supermarkets, shopping center and even the center of Lisbon. Highlighted the responsiveness and kindness of the owner. I would recommend this place and would not hesitate to return if needed.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

We were kindly welcomed by the host. A nice studio is on the ground floor. It's quiet. The host was helpful and we got a lot of tips. The studio is within walking distance of the sea and the station.

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs, and this stay stood out. The apartment was just as advertised, the location was great. It is two blocks from some of the nicest restaurants in the city, if you walk one way, and two blocks from authentic Portuguese restaurants with great food and traditional prices if you turn the other way,. The communication was excellent, I had to move my arrival multiple times and the hosts were completely flexible. I had a few minor questions and they responded immediately with clear and concise answers and always ensured that I knew they were available for any questions. I highly recommend staying here.~ Jeff

Ana & Nuno’s home was beautiful! Ana met with me to show us her home and communicated with us throughout the entire stay while giving us recommendations and suggestions. The house was clean and a close walk to many beaches and view points as well as a short drive to sintra and cascais. We had a wonderful stay, Thank you Ana!

We loved our space. I was traveling with my sister, parents, husband and toddler. It was nice spending time in the backyard- unable to use the pool due to cold temperatures outside and the pool is not heated (but we figured that may be the case). We dreamt about how refreshing it would be in the summer. So close to an amazing strip of restaurants and bars on a street we believe was called the lx factory. Also close to a beautiful open park space with a playground that we enjoyed a bottle of wine at and very close to a grocery store if supplies are needed. Lisbon is an awesome city and we were lucky to be in this Airbnb during our stay.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

It was lovely to meet Judite when she warmly welcomed me at the Airbnb. She and Sara had kindly left fruit, croissants, milk and an array of teas and coffees in the kitchenette which was well equipped and spotless as was the shower room. There was always lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and sometimes at the table in the room. It was very near the supermarket and a cafe and a short walk to the beach. The train station was also within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for one to two people! Quiet and peaceful, private pool, overall very nice.

The stay went very well and our host was very available and responsive. It had everything it needed in the kitchen. Neighbor not noisy at all. To get to Lisbon you will have to pay €2.5 to cross the bridge but on the way back from the bridge it is free. Please note that you have to ask for a space heater because at least in February and with the large dimensions of the apartment, it tends to be chilly (no fixed heating). But the host was very responsive and offered us the auxiliary heating. Overall, everything went very well!

It exceeded my expectations. The chalet is exactly as described and the outside area is much better in person. Mariana and Daniel are super attentive and proactive. It quickly helped me close some of the fence points that my smaller b***h could pass through. They recommend great restaurants and what to explore in the surroundings. I really felt right at home I hope to come back more often. Thank you :)
