Vacation rentals with lake access in Santee

What a dream! Beautiful location. Amazing views of the lake. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Clean home with everything you can think of to make your stay cozy and welcoming. Our girls getaway was perfect. And we will definitely make plans to stay again.

The lake house was great. Everything was very clearly labeled, organized, and well thought out. Sara thought of everything. It was very comfortable, and check out was especially easy. It was so nice to not have to strip the beds, wash the towels, take the trash to the curb, etc that so many other airbnbs make you do.

Me and my family had stayed here before right after the hurricane in October of 2024. Not much has changed since then, which is amazing! Dan and Linda are the sweetest hosts and an amazing couple! We definitely can't wait to stay again and enjoy the water once more.

Very clean and spacious house with more than reasonable stocked items made us feel at home the minute we stepped in. Inside, tasteful furnitures and decoration gave us a cozy feel as if we are staying at my grandmother’s house. Outside, you can spend all day relaxed with the sounds of nature - water, wind, and birds. I tried kayaking for the first time. Water is calm, nothing else is around me except water. What a soothing experience! And the sunset is breathtaking.

The host was great and the place was as described. We had enough space for everyone to sleep. I wish we had more time to enjoy the water but our schedule did not allow.

We enjoyed our week at the lake and found the home well-stocked. We ate most of our meals at home and had everything we needed. The kitchen was nicely appointed, and the appliances were high quality. There is a Publix grocery store 10 minutes away and several local restaurants to enjoy. We used the charcoal grill for several meals and sat outside as much as possible. The whole family enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, and swimming in the lake. A ladder on the dock would make it easier to get out of the lake, but we made due.

The cabin is very cozy. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck overlooking the water was amazing. Catelyn thought of everything. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathrooms.

My husband and his friends have stayed multiple times at Chris's house and love it. Great location and love the house. Perfect location for their annual spring fishing trip. Chris is always quick to respond and help in any way. Thank you for sharing your home! Kim Cash

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

We booked a last minute stay because we were in town for a funeral..Mark & Ruth were very accommodating. As for cleanliness probably one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed..the beds super comfy & just the best hosts! I hope we can come back again some time for a more relaxing reason :)

We stayed for one night on our trip from FL to PA to take a break from traveling. I wish we would have had more days to stay. The location right off of I-95 next to the lake was so refreshing. Everything was just as described , super clean and decorated nicely. I accidently left a necklace there and they communicated with me immediately and had it in the mail with tracking the same day. We would definitely stay here again !!

The place is beautiful. The patio was wonderful for relaxing and morning coffee. the layout of the home is amazing for a group with everything spacious and spread out and having individual bathrooms!

Perfect place to unplug and relax for the weekend. Fire pit was fantastic and the outside table was a great place to sit enjoy the perfect weather.

It was very comfortable and homey. Quick drive to Columbia, very peaceful to come back to and relax after exploring. Beautiful view of Lake Murray with plenty to do and stores very close by. The hosts were very accommodating. They had refreshments, snacks, and basic necessities needed. Would highly recommend and would stay at again. ….thank you very much!!!!!!!

The Sandbar Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Candy was very responsive before our visit answering any questions that I had about the location and stay. During our visit she was super responsive as well, allowing me to modify and stay a bit lengthier than we had planned. We traveled as a couple, with our two dogs and bass boat. The accommodations for all were great and just has had been explained. The pet area was super convenient and on the property boat ramp worked out great for us. I recommend getting there in daylight the first day just to take a look around as to how you need to pull in for the ramp and such, my outfit is around 50’ total length. We were able to get settled in make great use of all. I can’t say enough how comfortable the cottage was and warming atmosphere. The first two days of our stay the weather didn’t cooperate. But the cottage was set up with a warm Christmas appearance and the open porch leading to a fenced in area was great for our pups.

Highly recommend! Needed a place to stay on my trip home from the Blue Ridge Mountains and this was perfect. The place was absolutely adorable and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and within close proximity to many restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

This is one of our favorite places to spend a weekend on Lake Murray! It’s such a comfortable space with an incredible view and we enjoyed spending the day enjoying the lake and relaxing. The cottage has everything you could possibly need, and the check in was so easy. The hosts were kind and accommodating and we will definitely be back! Grocery store is only 5 minutes away if you need to grab anything on the way in. If you’re looking for the perfect lakefront getaway—This is it!!!

Great place to stay with dock access. We enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful weekend. Everyone in the neighborhood was very polite and kind. My family would love to spend time here again. Kayaking from the boat ramp was a bonus.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place located right in front of a stunning lake! The views were absolutely breathtaking and made our time there so peaceful and refreshing. Lauren was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She also provided a great list of nearby places to visit, which was super helpful for exploring the area. The little touches really made a difference – there was coffee, spices, and even games to enjoy, which added to the cozy, home-like feel of the space. Plus, the place is very kid and pet-friendly, which was perfect for our family. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had a very pleasant stay at Sheri's place. We were fishing a tournament out of Dreher Island and this location was perfect for launching our boat and driving to the ramp by water. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. Sheri was very helpful with her knowledge of this location. She even went as far as helping me locate the exact type of oil needed for my motor. If you are looking for a place to stay with a really nice view of the lake with a ramp and dock this place is where you will find it.

Our whole family loved the stay at Kim and Lee’s home. Such a beautiful location and a lovely house! The house is clean and stocked with everything you could ask for, the beds and furniture are very comfortable, and the view from the backyard is beautiful. Even our pets loved sitting in the sun and watching the animals outside! Very much a perfect stay and great hosts.
