Santee vacation rentals

We stayed while visiting family in the area with our two boys. The space overall was perfect for our family of 4. It was close to all the places we were visiting and the hosts also provided great recommendations for restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet as well! Only downside would be that the front room did not have black out curtains, otherwise a wonderful stay.

Finding a affordable place to stay to visit Charleston at a affordable price is extremely difficult. That is what I discovered. You can either get scalped downtown paying thousands - maybe a night - for a mediocre hotel, or take a chance to get a vrbo or airbnb close to town and get junk house in a slum neighborhood. I had to go to a wedding. So did other family members. I tailored my search for highest guest ratings and this property came up. Yeah it took 30 minutes to drive to town. but again - anything closer was a slum or a 1000+ a night in town. I was pleasantly surprised. This property is a older ranch in a middle class neighborhood that has been COMPLETELY remodeled - and I mean COMPLETELY. New appliances, new flooring, new paint, the furniture may be original but it was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was easy to travel to the city and easy to get back. My other family members picked a airbnb rental in Mt Pleasant - spent $3000 on a dump.

We had a great stay at Daniel place. Everything was in order and it allowed to have an awesome weekend for the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Joseph place was really comfortable and cozy. Joseph is a great host very responsive and accommodating. House has everything you need. Thanks Joseph!

Was a great place to stay! Very cute and cozy. Although it was off a busier road you couldn’t really tell from inside and it felt pretty quiet. Would recommend!

Tony's place was exactly what we needed. Very close to the Art Center, Coliseum and an Shopping Outlet. The host was very friendly, responsive and understanding. We appreciate the details he puts to have his guests feels at home. We love the background music when you first get to the house..... was a nice welcoming after a long drive.

I have no complaints. The home was very nice and clean. We're we're very satisfied.

Absolutely beautiful! The place was clean and inviting. The hosts had provided everything you could possibly imagine, even personal items if you forgot anything. There was so much to do for entertainment both inside and outside the home. We had a great time!

Kathy’s place was very nice and comfortable. Close to Brecks where we got a 30 oz steak for $32.99 was not a fancy place, but it was worth it and the steak was awesome. Another place we ate on the way out was in Somerville. Shuckin shack oyster bar. They had a great menu low price for the best oysters, clams and mussels. Steamed or raw also a great fried cod sandwich. I am sure everything there was awesome!! Oh good Bloody Mary too! The proximity of Karen’s place to a lot of things to do was nice. She also left us much appreciated wine and a gift. Thank you Kathy for a great stay!

We had a great weekend at this lovely lake house. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the water and the view! Loved the property and all it had to offer. Curt was a great host, as well!

Our stay at Stuart’s place was nothing short of amazing. Property was just as described and had absolutely everything you could think of. We have stayed at Santee for the last 5 years and Stuart’s place was by far the best! We look forward to staying here again!

I can't say enough good things about Iris and this place! They were extremely kind and helpful. Would recommend staying with them anytime you are in the area! I know we will be!
