Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Catalina Island

I actually was not able to stay at the property due to some extenuating circumstances regarding the fires in Los Angeles. Thankfully, Catalina Vacations was extremely accommodating and offered to cancel outside of their normal window. They were very communicative, and I appreciate their willingness to help out!

Fantastic location, easy to access, was exactly like the photos. Was what we expected and more. I would recommend anyone familiar with Catalina Island to enjoy this spot as much as we did. Would book again when going back.

We absolutely loved this cozy beach house in Avalon. It was in the perfect central location; an easy walk from the ferry on a quiet and quaint, street. Beds were comfy-cozy, kitchen appliances were great, and everything was spotlessly clean. What a treat for our first visit to Catalina. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

We booked this lovely place for a bachelorette trip, and the ferry got cancelled the day of, as well as the next 2 days, so unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it there due to the weather. Debra was so lovely and responsive and very helpful during the entire process and I’m so grateful for how helpful and kind she was. We are definitely going to take a trip there and stay at Debra’s Airbnb in the future! 🤍 Thank you for being an awesome host!

This house is amazing - literally the best view in town. We could have easily just hung out in the living room with glasses of wine and had a fantastic weekend. The house is cool, funky, retro. Allison's description was spot on - and if you are looking for a modern style home, this is not for you. But if you are looking for something really cool... and did I mention the view...

This was the cleanest short term rental I have ever seen. I mean squeaky clean. The condo has a million dollar view and the golf cart is top notch! You definitely need a good cart when you’re on the island. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Santa Catalina Island.

First time staying in Catalina and Jeanie made it such a memorable stay ! She was extremely kind and generous, she even picked us up from the Catalina Express and dropped us off when it was time to go! Her personal recommendations were exactly what we were looking for and my boyfriend and I felt right at home. She’s so responsive and answered all of our questions, she’s just one text away ! I recently had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the check-in process a breeze. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The place is absolutely beautiful, the view is amazing, everything was really nice but the first night we were staying the power went off. Since we didn’t have power we couldn’t use the WiFi to contact Ami (there’s no signal in the area) so we spent the whole night without power but the next day once we were in town we called Ami and the power problem was solved when we went back! Also thank you for letting us check out a little bit late ☺️☺️

The place was beautiful and extremely clean! The host was very responsive and friendly. Our kids had a great time there was a ton to do and it felt like we were far away from Los Angeles.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The bed was incredibly cozy, the kitchen had all the essentials (and more), and we really appreciated the little thoughtful touches throughout the space.

This place was great. It was right on the edge of town— very easy to walk to, but also extremely quiet. Everything was perfectly clean and working. As advertised, it does not have a harbor view, but there is a nice patio and courtyard. Kit was very responsive in messaging. Couldn’t ask for anything else.

Overall stay was amazing, with beautiful views. Check in went smooth thanks to the host explaining everything beforehand. I would recommend downloading the Circuit app for transportation from the check-in location to Hamilton Cove. Circuit transportation is a lot cheaper than catching a taxi. The Hamilton Cove unit is a well-maintained updated condo. The unit does come with a golf cart which is a bit worn, however it got us around the island during our stay. The views from the unit are spectacular and it’s a quiet community. Would definitely stay here again.

Kim was a pleasure to deal with. She was very communicative and her place is right in the middle of town. It was easy to get to everything from her place. Having a golf cart included with the room was a huge bonus. Would stay here again for sure

Lamont and the staff were so friendly with great tips on things to do around the island. The property is breathtaking & steps away from the private beach, pool and gym. The golf cart included with the condo was seriously a lifesaver we explored the entire island with ease and sits 6 people. Bring a portable speaker for music on the go. The entire condo is pure luxe & so quiet and peaceful. The shower and kitchen design are my favorites- simply beautiful. Felt right at home!

This place matches the pictures exactly as listed on the Airbnb site. Rosie is very responsive; she provided us with information on local attractions and brought us additional heaters when we mentioned that the room was a bit too cold for us. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which made our day much easier. The golf cart that came with the rental is a must-have. Since the gated community does not allow rental golf carts inside, we were glad to have our own. It made it much easier to come in and out of the community, which is a bit too far to walk, especially when carrying groceries. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of condiments and plates, making it feel like home. I would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

The place was amazing, with breathtaking views. The check in was easy and simple, and the place was clean. The golf cart was a great plus and super helpful with getting around the island. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Great apartment with a fantastic view. Andre and Leslie were very responsive and kind, even got us an early check in. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment is a nice perk. Highly recommend!

Great experience overall. Clear instructions, very responsive and the commodities were well worth the efforts. Would visit again.
