Villa vacation rentals in Santa Bárbara de Nexe

We had an amazing 10 nights in the villa. The outside area was great for dining, sunbathing or just relaxing reading a book. Then the shaded area was great if you needed to get out of the sun. The swimming pool was really clean and well maintained throughout the holiday. As it was August it was lovely and warm. All bedrooms were a great size and it was lovely that each room had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and with Lidl only a 10 min walk away it was great for food shopping. Tirimisu Bar was great for food and drink and very reasonable. We also ate at a lovely Italian restaurant at the golf village which was only a few minutes drive away. Ubers were very easy to get. We had a late flight back so thankfully we were able to leave our cases in the villa until it was time to great. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great villa.

We four friends had a very nice time in this fantastic house and found exactly what we were looking for: sunrise, sunset, a view of the vastness of the mountains, absolute peace... The pool was my joy despite my injured leg! The house is furnished with great attention to detail, which also contributed to our relaxation! Thank you also for the friendly and helpful contact! After our vacation in Madeira was canceled due to a forest fire, we never thought we would find such beautiful accommodation at the last minute. We would love to come back!

Absolutely a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. There is a large supermarket nearby and the old town Albuferia and beaches are only a 8 to10 minute drive away. The villa has all the amenities you need and is well maintained. The grounds and pool area are large with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Large patio table and chairs. Large brick charcoal bbq setup. Nice loungers and umbrellas for shade at the pool which was great and came in very handy. Very spacious bedrooms with massive wardrobes each with their own large en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great supply of everything we needed. The laundry room has a washing machine, and each bedroom has air conditioning. We felt very safe at the property as there were locks and shutters for the doors and a locked gate to exit and enter. Had a great week long break, the Air BnB was perfect and the pool is much bigger in person then in the photos.

⸻ We stayed here as a group of 15 and absolutely loved it! The house is huge, clean, and really lovely—plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location was super convenient and made it easy for us to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The hosts were absolutely fabulous—so helpful and attentive both before and during our stay. They really went above and beyond, even posting back my auntie’s bus pass after she left it behind! Such a thoughtful gesture. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back again in the future!

Claire was simply a superb host. The house was absolutely clean, the communication was perfect, even her recommendations based on our interests were exactly on point. Whenever there was a question Claire answered almost instantly. I can only recommend this beautiful house to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the center, but it is only a 5 minute drive. One minor thing for the interested, there is no coffee machine, but the supermarket a few metres away does have a coffee machine with actually fine tasting coffee. Extraordinary stay in a beautiful spot. The view is unmatched. The house is perfectly equipped and the pool and spa are lovely. Wilson went above and beyond to care for us before, during, and after the stay. A kind and thoughtful host!!

This villa was a great treat for the winter holidays! Great villa with all the amenities you’ll ever need plus a pool and ping pong table! Area was lovely and peaceful. Roger was very responsive with any questions we had and made us feel very welcome! It was a pleasure to stay here and would love to come back during the summer months one day!

What a villa!! We stayed here the week build up to our wedding and it was just perfect in every way. The location, the space, the villa itself was so modern and clean, the pool and outdoor area was amazing. It was even more gorgeous in person! We were a group of 10 people and had a wonderful time at Sam's villa The facilities were perfect, everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Sam was a perfect hostess who was always helpful and available. The villa is in a quiet area, but you are within 10-15 minutes by car to the lively places. We would definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Villa, it is in a lovely and peaceful location, which is perfect for kids and relaxing but also the restaurants and bars are within walking distance. We also regularly used taxi services to further away areas which were only a few euros. The cleaning service was a great added bonus, especially for a large group and Andrea was always very helpful with any queries we had. Rowny was brilliant and very helpful and responsive. We had a young baby with us & I had asked whether there was a pack and play that the baby could use whilst we were at the pool area. While it wasn't advertised, Rowny went out of her way to have one delivered to us, which was very much appreciated! The hosts were the best I have experienced on air B&B! The villa itself is very spacious , we had a group of 14 and everyone had plenty of space. I would recommend this Villa to anyone considering booking!

Enjoyed a week in this spacious and well provisioned villa. Location is good as a base if you have a car to drive around. The Villa has 4 nice and bedrooms with plenty of space and bathroom facilities for each. The pool area benefits from sunshine all day makes for a good space to relax and entertain in. Overall really nice place.

Lovely place. I didn’t realise it was split into two separate flats but that meant extra facilities as there are 2 kitchens and more privacy. Lots of space for 10 of us, lovely to have en suites or bathrooms for every bedroom. The pool is really fantastic and the outdoor kitchen area was great for bbqs and pizza. Hot tub is great. Jane the concierge was really helpful when 2 of the guests’ suitcases were lost in transit, she helped by calling the luggage company and to rearrange delivery. Really easy stroll to town with lots of restaurants and a few shops. Wonderful holiday, thank you!

We had a great stay! The house and host were everything that was outlined in the listing; our host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location while beautiful does limit the walkable amenities ; we were fortunate through the initial help of our host to be able to utilize the taxi service regularly and we also used them as a day tour service for specific outings! I would recommend Guilherme and this property.

Just had a 3 night stay in this property. Close to the marina and all local bars / restaurant. Maria was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out. Responds to e mails etc very quickly. Quite a quiet street with no disturbances, there is a large garden and communal pool to use. Property itself is a little dated but had plenty of amenities and was clean on arrival.

My husband and I with our two dogs stayed for a month. The house was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a long stay. The location was ideal, everything was within a 5-10minute drive including the beach. The house is lovely and private with a huge garden that our dogs absolutely loved! The wardrobes and mattresses in the main bedrooms could do with updating which I think is fair to say. The annex is very modern with new furniture and a kitchenette which is a nice addition. Again, the location is just superb thank you.

We've just returned from a fantastic stay at Villa Verde. It had everything we needed and was much bigger than the photographs suggest. It worked perfectly for us to visit family up the road and the pool was an added bonus. The villa was spotless and Phil always got back to me within minutes if I needed any help. Thank you!

A really fantastic place to stay! We fully enjoyed the nice accommodation including a wonderful infinity pool. I would recommend this villa to everybody searching for a quiet place to enjoy your holidays !

The villa was incredibly well presented and had plenty of utensils for cooking if you wanted to! The pool table was a bit with our kids. Paulo was very responsive when I had any questions. Overall a wonderful stay and plenty of space for us all.

A fabulous villa, new and stylishly fitted out. Lots of space throughout. We loved the pool and gardens. There are even orange trees on the plot, and a roof terrace to watch the sunset on. The location was really convenient for access to Lagoa and Portimao, and all the main towns of the algarve. The team were really responsive and helpful with all our questions and requests. It made our last minute booking really easy and unstressful. We hope to return again!
