The house is situated in a small cottage settlement and is cuddly cozy. I found it somewhat irritating that the standards actually common on Airbnb such as towels or linens, or even storm and gas were not included. You just have to keep that in mind when comparing prices. However, what was really nice is the wood-burning stove in the living/dining area and the fire pit outside. The rooftop room can only be reached via a steep sambatre staircase, rather adventurous at night for children.

This was our place for a weekend visit to the DTM in nearby Spielberg. Stay and accommodation were impeccable and professionally prepared. It is important to use the GPS coordinates provided at the time of booking for navigation. A normal input of the street/house number leads to the Pampa at GMaps (on the last few meters). Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 kids, it was a wonderful stay. To wake up to that gorgeous view from the room was the cherry on cake. The area was peaceful, we were always on the move so didn’t have time to use the hot tub at all, wish we could. It was spacious too. My kids had a lovely time as they could see horses, cows, goats and cats. Please be mindful of opening the doors, because the cats are always on the lookout. We were unable to meet Jürgen, wish we could, but he was very responsive and answered all our questions on heating even if he was busy with his own work. Thanks to him for hosting us.

We stayed at Herbert's place for 14 days and felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. We stayed at this property from August 31 to September 14 and attended all 4 seasons during this time. In the 1st week we had spring/summer from the weather. So we were able to enjoy cozy afternoons or barbecue evenings on the terrace after our hiking tours. In the 2nd week we had autumn/ winter from the weather. After our tours, we used the beautiful conservatory and sauna. So we highly recommend the place, no matter what season. I would especially like to commend the super nice property manager Fam. Findling. They were immediately available and on hand. Of course, the communication with Herbert was also perfect. This cozy cottage is simply recommended.
