House vacation rentals in Sandy Bay

We stayed a week in this wonderful house, with its amazing spaces, that the 9 of us had no trouble to spread out and relax in. The photos do not do this place justice and the massive picturesque indoor pool was greatly appreciated by many, as was the sauna and the pool table. We had mostly beautiful weather and the stunning roses were in bloom around the house along with the the fuchsias and flowering gums. We were lucky to see a small Aurora Australis. We were very thankful for the beautiful "Welcome Hamper’ for the 9 of us. Jason and Katrina where great hosts, good with communication and attended to anything that arose during our stay. They even provided a cooler fan for one of our group who needed to be very cold at night to sleep. Thank you for listing this amazing house for large groups to enjoy!

A spacious beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. The bedrooms and living spaces are all large and comfortable. The surrounding bushland is lovely and the spa is just an added touch to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. The local rooster did like to wake us up early but we didn’t mind it, just added to the ambiance. Lots of local wildlife in the close vicinity.

Family of 8 accommodated very easily, lots of separate spaces for kids and adults alike with great views of the harbour from the upstairs living space. Quick drive to nearby amenities/shops and city within 15 minutes. Recommend for those looking for family friendly accommodation.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

The view is amazing with a lovely pool and spa. Having two living spaces was great to allow people to do their own things. Very comfortable beds. Bill was great getting back to us with any questions.

Bambra Reef Lodge and surrounds was such a pleasant place to break our journey. Julie and Geoff live on the property and we saw them a small number of times. Regardless they respected our privacy and we had a great time, especially in the games room, walks around the lovely grounds and vegetable gardens, and exploring the beach practically a few steps away from the property. Warm hospitality, beautiful view from the veranda, especially in the evening. Very very will equipped, comfortable, cozy, like feeling at home. Everything for breakfast and other foodstuff was offered. We really recommend staying in that beautiful place.

Outstanding! You will not be disappointed. Every year five of us girls get together to celebrate two of our birthdays, and this would have to be the best by far! The spa is an absolute hit, we definitely made the most of it. This house has absolutely everything you need and felt like home… it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the beds were comfortable, and warm. And the bread, milk and continental breakfast was a lovely touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We had a beautiful week in Hobart for a friend’s wedding. The house is lovely and the views are incredible! Easy to get Ubers as it is quite close to the airport. Very happy, thank you!

My family has a great weekend stay. Everyone loved the pinball machines, air hockey etc and had a great time. Loved the welcome pack of bread, milk etc. Had clear instructions for everything in the house, beautiful back deck and we could not fault a thing. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Julie's place was wonderful and at great location. Neat and tidy house with lots of space and amenities . Julie was very proactive and she helped me with all my request . I highly recommend Julie's place and will defiantly hire her place again when I visit Hobart again. Thank you Julie for everything we had a great time at your place.

This is our second stay at Richard’s place and it probably won’t be our last. The house is homely, welcoming and stylish and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pantry staples. Lovely crockery and cutlery. The location of the house is fabulous. Views of the bay, close to Battery Point village and coffee shops and only a short walk to Salamanca. An idyllic spot. Richard is a super host for a reason. Thanks for being so accommodating and sharing your home.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachside house! The views of the water from both ends of the house were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect retreat. The location was peaceful and private, exactly what we were looking for. The house was impeccably clean, with spotless bathrooms and tasteful furnishings that made the space feel cozy yet elegant. The host provided clear and detailed instructions, which made check-in and navigating the house seamless. They were also incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is clean and has a large space, and the special wood stove is quite comfortable, the owner is very conscientious and helpful, I will book this place again next time I come to Hobart.

Provider House is a total gem. We fell in love with the zen cabin and the idyllic bush setting in the most peaceful corner of town. The house is refined and rustic, comfortable and elevated, and a total dream escape. It has everything you need, so thoughtfully provided and presented. We also fell in love with Hobart and the surrounding area thanks to Tara’s superb local directory. I think we ticked nearly half of her suggestions off the list, and have already decided we need to come back to complete the other half. My only advice is to book yourself more time than you think - we would have loved one more day to soak in the magical creek and bush walks, drink coffee in the sunshine and pore over the phenomenal book collection. It’s lovely to know we will be back…

It was a wonderful base for exploring Hobart. Metres to the waterfront for evening walks. Comfortable beds and great facilities. Felt at home. Andrew and Lisa were always available if needed (which we didn't). Would love to come back for another visit.
