This location and layout was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, quiet, private and the hosts were incredible. They were attentive while completely respecting privacy and thought ahead about any possible needs. Very responsive with requests and truly went above and beyond. I would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect! My boyfriend and I were visiting family for the week of thanksgiving. Both of us worked from the house and WiFi was great. We felt right at home. The house was so quiet and cozy. We had our dog with us and she loved the backyard. It is fully fenced in. There were lots of deer around the house which was fun to see! Lynny’s communication was very detailed and fast. I’d highly recommend staying here.

John’s Place is a perfect getaway for peace and quiet. The house has every convenience needed for a comfortable stay, including a screened porch to enjoy morning coffee and serene evenings. We really enjoyed taking a swim in the river and checking out the local restaurants and shops. This a great retreat from the busy world just down the road toward Austin to the north or San Antonio to the south. We highly recommend John’s Place!

We had a great time staying here. Had everything we needed and when we shared washer/dryer troubles Michelle promptly brought us clean dry towels. Our stay was private and peaceful and a 30 minute drive from all the activities we had planned.
