House vacation rentals in San Juan Islands

We would definitely love to return! The setting is beautiful, and the home is very accommodating with a spacious layout, fun activities for kids and adults, and a helpful host. We had a few hiccups with a master bath shower and checking in, but nothing major we couldn’t work through quickly. I love that the furniture was sturdy and not just all cheap ikea stuff. There were a few special surprises my kids just adored, too. Helped them to feel right at home!

This AirBNB was hands down one of the best places we have ever stayed. The location was convenient to the highway, which could take you any direction on the island. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, safe, and peaceful. The view from the house is fabulous! We enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast every morning, sitting at the dining table, looking at the view. The house is very open and bright. You feel right at home when you step in. One of my biggest requirements is clean. This house completely exceeded my expectations!! We didn’t find any area that hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with whatever you would want or need. The bedrooms are nicely furnished, and have very comfortable beds. Lastly, important to a good stay, is good communication with the owners. From the day I booked, to the day we left, the owners were proactive, very friendly, and incredibly responsive. It put our positive experience with this house, over the top!!

We so loved staying here. The view was spectacular and the home, amenities and location were perfect for us. A short jaunt to downtown Bellingham to visit our daughter and close enough for her to visit us with ease. The pictures don’t do it justice, the expansive lake view is serene and we got to see a sprinkle of snow on the hilltops on our last day. Can’t wait to visit again.

We absolutely loved Jeffrey’s place. The home is so inviting and made us feel right at home. We celebrated Thanksgiving and the home was such a wonderful place to gather together to visit, eat, play games, do puzzles etc. We highly recommend this lovely home.

Our family visited for an end of summer getaway. We had 2 adults and 5 grown kids! We LOVED the house! The pool and hot tub were amazing and the family enjoyed pickle ball, golf and the trampoline! We picked apples off the property’s tress and really enjoyed the quiet! If we are back in the area we will definitely book again! This cabin was a great relaxing getaway experience for my friends and I. It was cozy and inviting and a great set up to lay around the living room, turn on the fireplace, get under the blankets and read our books and watch some Netflix! It was an especially rainy weekend during our stay and we couldn’t be happier to just stay inside.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at Destiny’s pool house. Very spacious. The master bedroom with the king bed was wonderful. Easy to find and enter and convenient for our visit with nearby relatives.

Biggest Positives: Kely was very responsive to all requests, questions, and itinerary changes. In the month leading up to our stay I think I asked for 2 changes to check-in/check-out dates, and on the day-of I even asked for an early check-in which she granted as soon as her cleaners had confirmed that they were done. The place was beautiful and as described; she runs a clean ship. The only thing I would like to highlight to other guests (not negative feedback, just a highlight) is that it wasn't immediately clear to me that we would be charged extra for turning on the pool heating or jacuzzi. Upon notification of the extra charge, we looked back and it was clearly written in the instructions that she sent upon check-in; so that was an oversight on us for not reading all of the instructions. Just writing it in my review to encourage others to read all of the instructions!

Jesse was very helpful and responded to all of my questions very quickly. The home was just the right size and had everything that we needed to feel comfortable. I will be booking this property again!

Erik's place is as presented in the description and photos. It is perfectly situated mid island making it easy to visit both the north and south ends. We especially enjoyed the "tree house" feel with the view and surrounding trees. Erik was great to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions. We found the bed too soft, but that is just a personal preference. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Beautiful Location in Friday Harbor. Every morning offered a different view. Our dogs loved it too. Nice large yard and plenty of space for everyone. Close to town for everything you need. We lucked out with weather, hiked every day.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at this serene, quiet, beautiful Airbnb. Even the 10 yos loved being able to see the water and got to sit by the fire inside. We all highly recommend!

We stayed here during a time when we had no power at home due to a storm and needed to be close to Swedish Hospital for a surgery. Ernest was so kind and responsive for a same day check in. The home is comfortable and well furnished, and so convenient to Edmonds and Lynnwood. As a host myself, I'm always so appreciative of the extra touches like good pots and pans, spices, and bodywash, shampoo, etc. Ernest and Tal have really thought about what can make your stay better--and it shows! Also the walkin shower was perfect for post-sugery!

I have stayed in a number of rentals on Orcas over the years - this was among the best! Great views, wonderfully appointed kitchen, the hot tub was clean, the fireplace inside warmed the place quickly and provided a great ambiance. The interior was well-designed and the finish carpentry was beautifully done. I would absolutely stay here again. One note - this has nothing to do with the property itself, but if you're planning on walking back and forth between the house and town frequently as we were, you might want to think twice. Orcas has awful pedestrian infrastructure and the drivers (not unlike in the rest of WA) are selfish, dangerous, and unattentive. The half-mile walk between the house and town is best done at low-tide when you can walk on the beach a safe distance from the road.

I can't say enough about this beautiful home. If I could give it 6 stars I would. It is immaculately clean. Lori has thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable. You will find a stack of like new kitchen towels, full rolls of paper towels and a kitchen loaded with any type of cooking and serving pieces you could possibly want. While the house is packed full of thoughtful amenities the real draw is the lovely view from the den, it is magical. The owner is super responsive and helpful. It's the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in and look forward to going back as soon as I can.

This is a lovely Airbnb that is close to Sidney and just a short drive to University of Victoria and downtown. It was lovely to walk to a grocery store and cute coffee shop. Frankie was very sweet and welcoming!

Great spot for multi-party stays. Quiet and roomy!

The Mandala House was perfect for our family Thanksgiving! The kitchen was great for three active chefs and lots of great food! Peaceful, quiet and lovely inside and outside. Close to town for the numerous runs to the grocery store. And close to Moran State Park for hiking! We loved playing games while keeping warm by the wood fire. And the beds were comfortable! It was a lovely getaway! Highly recommend!

The place was great. Easy access to trails and near town

We stayed a long weekend at Tess's place and enjoyed every minute of it. Located just outside of Sooke and close to multiple beaches, it was a great home base as we explored Vancouver Island. We cooked a few meals at the house with all the utensils and supplies we needed. Communication was super easy, as were her instructions for entry, check out and everything in between. We would definitely stay again!

What can I say about this place….its stunning!! This beautiful Victorian home sits on a huge, beautifully landscaped lot. Everything was spectacular! We enjoyed playing bocce ball, seeing the mini horses; Guinevere & Lancelot, and of course Juno!! Such a lovely dog, and welcome wagon mascot. Thank you for everything Wendy. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Shelley's place exceeded our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very quiet neighbourhood. Shelley communicated very well answering our questions immediately after being asked. We will stay there again if we have the opportunity the next time we visit Victoria.
