We fell in love with the Cabo de Gata atmosphere long time ago. We spent many a holiday and finally bought a run down 'cortijo'. With the help of an architect friend we turned it into a unique family holiday home with a private pool, and unspoilt views of the natural park. It's an ideal place to spend a relaxed holiday with family, kids and friends. Guests tell us it's the best place they have rented in years. A great starting point to explore the best beaches in Europe.

The apartment is great, it's not missing any detail. The entrance with a code is very convenient. The area is quiet but close to the beach and the supermarket. We were very comfortable and Pilar responded to our questions quickly. Finally, she was very attentive, since on arrival we had fresh water in the fridge and the apartment was cool with the air on! A real treat when arriving from the trip and it was hot. To be repeated!

From the point of booking communication was spot on. We booked facility for a family get together and it was exactly as expected. Plenty of seating and different areas within the facility to relax. We enjoyed a BBQ on the Saturday and mixed with the locals in the “only bar in the village” . As foreign outsiders, we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone that we met. Highly recommended

Egbert was really helpful before, during and after our stay. the location of the house is really good and has a variety of areas to eat out in the shade or sun. the pool has a grassy shaded area with a good selection of sun beds supplied by Egbert. the pool is a good size and never gets crowded even in August! the info book was really useful and thoughtfully put together with many useful suggestions of where to visit in the area. Although we have been visiting the area for many years we even found new places to visit. the Lunar Cable park and inflatables at the resevoir was a good morning out and our grand children loved the infatable obstacle course. there is a good snack bar on site. Get there early and allow a couple of hours only. we often eat at Triana in the Valle de Este resort as the food is great and always consistent quality. if you dont fancy a full meal you can just work your way through the tapas! great holiday, great house and great hosts! enjoy!

Jonas is definitely a place we'd like to return to. The apartment was perfect for us,with everything we needed and then some. Very good stay, accommodation matches the photos and very clean. Private parking is a plus and the pool at the foot of the apartment is great for both children and adults.
