If you’ve made it this far as to click on this post then look no more. The value and friendliness of the whole town was more than we expected. The inn manager Dave was literally waiting for us at the door in case we missed the building as we got in late (9pm). When he showed us to our room they had the heaters on so our rooms were cozy (it was 30 degrees outside) and the extra cots ready so that all we needed to do was tuck in for the night. Don’t let the pics fool you, the value is certainly there. 8 of us slept here for $120. You can’t beat that! Checking out was a breeze, since we got in late they offered to adjust out check out time. Dean the owner is hands on, kind, and the communication was amazing. Thank you for making our stay with you so enjoyable! PS THE RESTAURANT IS DELICIOUS BEST PANCAKES I’VE EVER HAD

The hostel is great! Was very chill and quiet (which isn’t the norm at hostels). Also in such a great location if you’re riding at Summit or Bear. Short drive to resorts, and super walkable to the village for some food and drink after a day of riding.

My father and brothers just returned from a 10 day cross country road trip and stayed here on their 7th night. They each had different favorites (landmarks, views, meals, etc) of the trip, but they all consistently spoke about how amazing Dean was during their stay. He was personable, accommodating, and SO KIND. The history, scenery, stories, and eclectic nature of the place were all amazing, as well, but I want to yell from the mountaintops how incredible the host is. Dean: thank you for being such an important part of this "bucket list" trip for my loved ones. I wish I could shake your hand.

Had such a magical stay here! The room was so cute, I loved the floral wallpaper and overall quirky vibe of it all-it looked just like the pictures! Having a big tub with jets in the bedroom was a game changer. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were also able to check-in early which was really nice. Rita was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. I will absolutely be back here and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Ramsey 29 was clutch for a solo trip to the desert. The room was clean, stylish, and had everything I needed to decompress after a long day wandering Joshua Tree and nearby spots. Super easy check-in, great energy, and just the right amount of quiet. But what really made it for me? Kitchen in the Desert being right on the property. That food?? Incredible. Being able to walk from my room to one of the best restaurants in Twentynine Palms without having to drive or plan anything? Major win. It made the whole stay feel even more intentional—rest, reset, and a fire meal without lifting a finger. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend if you want a lowkey, vibey, and convenient stay in the desert.

We love staying at the Ramsey 29! This was our third time staying there. The rooms are lovely and very clean! The staff is helpful and it is located near cute little boutiques and several restaurants. We especially loved visiting The Kitchen In The Desert restaurant! It is a lovely chill vibe especially at night. Highly recommend the food is fabulous!

We are regulars at the Ramsey and decided to came back to celebrate my birthday. They wished me a happy birthday and upgraded my room which was so sweet and unexpected. Spent the weekend walking around all the local artisanal markets, at pioneer bowling alley, and then dinner at copper room. The best part is Kitchen in the dessert is right next door so we ended the night with some drinks there and brunch the next day - just a short walk away. Rooms here are simple but clean and have everything you need to rest from adventuring out in the desert. Also loved having the little kitchenette for personal snacks n things. Thank you for always hosting my little weekend getaways!

We stayed for a week while moving. Had to bring our cat along & after staying in noisy hotels, really appreciated how clean, quiet & helpful the place & everyone there was. The property is very well kept, we would stay again just to enjoy the pool & beach!

This is my magic unplug place with good energy and mineral soaks! I have been coming for a couple years now and have loved to watch the location upgrade and get even better🙏🏻 . Ezzy is always so accommodating and helpful with anything I need!

I booked this property for an overnight. Stay to snowboard at Snow Summit. It was amazing. It’s five minutes from the resort and the perfect place to be at if you’re looking to catch early trails. Located right by the lake it would be perfect for the summertime too.

Overall, nice hotel and responsive host! I would suggest looking up hotel rates directly as they could be less than what is facilitated on here, especially if extending your original reservation. This may be a good option if you don’t have/or want to pay with a credit card for a hotel spot.

Cute little spot in Arrowhead! Little mix up with our room being accidently mixed up with someone else, but easy fix. Room was nice and cozy. Close to everything!

Excellent location. Clean and quiet. Beautiful view of the lake. Be prepared for a 250.00 deposit when you arrive though.

Have been staying here for at least 18 years and it has always felt like a lovely home from home in the desert. The only change since our early stays was the addition of the swimming pool which really makes the place a perfect desert stay location. I will keep on coming back as it’s a wonderful relaxing retreat at a great price, and close enough to the JT national park and stores/restaurants which are just down the road. A historical gem! ❤️

Loved our stay here! A great location to use as a home base for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Very comfortable, walkable distance to local restaurants, overall I highly recommend
