Guesthouse vacation rentals in San Antonio River

This was our second time visiting Texas Tiny Homes and we loved it again! Trinity is an amazing host. She brought my kiddo animals to interact with, chatted with us, and even went kayaking with us in the evening. It feels like visiting friends. It is the in the country so don’t expect luxury, but you can expect beauty and good honest people. My son absolutely loves this place and he can’t wait to visit again next year. It is just the right amount relaxation and adventure fr us.

We stayed at Andrew's place for a concert this past week! Andrew provided such clear instructions to the home and even provided pictures! I love that they were so responsive & had great communication with my sister & I. The area felt safe to us. We felt so comfy because it's gated and our truck felt secure. The home was comfortable and cozy! My sister used the main bedroom and I used an inflatable mattress in the living room. It was great! The place was clean when we arrived. It was a cozy and nice stay for us while we stayed in San Antonio.

Reid and Barbara were amazing hosts! They truly make you feel like you’re at home when you’re not actually at home. I would go back there again whenever I have an opportunity to for sure!

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

We had an amazing stay. Very nice and peaceful location. Easy to get around from. Perfect little piece of heaven. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay at again. Hosts were amazing at check in and were helpful with recommendations.

Melody‘s place was very comfortable in a centrally located area. I appreciate it Melody‘s hospitality and I would like to return the next time I’m in the area. I highly recommend Melody‘s place to others!

WOW! This Hacienda style dwelling was exactly what we wanted to stay at in San Antonio.Absolutely gave you the flavor we needed to make our visit authentic feeling.Having a great Mexican restaurant( El Chaparral )a mile away was a bit of magic also. Pool is large & rooms were cozy.Details were obvious everywhere.Thank You so much for the memories.

I loved my long weekend stay! It was perfectly located near downtown however just far enough away that you are not in the hustle and bustle. The river walk is just a couple blocks away and walks right into downtown, which I used several times. If you are going to San Antonio I would highly recommend Jen’s spot!

Went on a trip for The Weeknd ,it's the perfect place for a nice get away ,very clean and very nice host will definitely be coming back if ever back in town !!!

I had a really comfortable and relaxing stay here! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed to feel at home. It was the perfect spot to unwind and get some rest. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and I’d love to come back again!

We stayed here for the Final Four and enjoyed it. Faced with paying nearly $100 to park our rental, we instead discovered we were very close to the Crossroads Park N Ride. $5.20 total for each of us! WIN! The pool was just opened, but the weather in SATX didn't cooperate. 60s/40s after a 90 degree day before we arrived. The place was super clean and quiet. It's a working neighborhood so peace and quiet at night. If the NCAA returns (2031 or beyond are unknown) and this place is around, we will happily book again.

We had a fantastic stay! The unit was clean and equipped with all the extras you need and not have to pack and travel with. The location of place is as centrical as we wanted, close to all areas we were going to. All hosts were great, all communicated so promptly, and all directions were so clear and understanding. Unit was clean and cozy, AC worked great, no issues, neighborhood felt safe, very quiet area, minimal noise levels. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at The Cabana. The beautiful pool and backyard were very peaceful. The inside was very clean and comfortable. Natalie was always responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay! Roxana was great and super responsive. She was very accommodating with an early check in. The property was really nice, I’m not sure the pictures did it justice! The entire property is fenced so it felt very private. The guesthouse was very clean and nicely laid out with plenty of space. The work space was great with a modern sit/stand desk. I had no problem being on a video call working in the space. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to prepare a small meal. The bed was comfortable and I definitely slept better there than I did at a recent hotel stay! Next time I am in San Antonio, I will definitely check the guest house for availability!

Kelly was the perfect host - very easy to communicate with, clear instructions, helpful, and provided breakfast options (which was a nice touch). The apartment is in a carriage house on the alley behind their home with it's own dedicated parking. It's in a quiet neighborhood that has kind of funky vibe with lots of interesting restaurants just a few streets over. You can walk to downtown and the Alamo in about 20 minutes. The apartment was clean and welcoming and was lacking in nothing. The beds were comfortably firm. Would recommend staying here, especially if you intend to explore different neighborhoods, try unique restaurants, and walk a different section of the river walk.

Jay & Magdalena were great hosts. Their casita was perfect for my little family. I saw on other reviews how they’re some really loud dogs next door, but to us they weren’t really that loud and we were able to sleep just fine. Jay and Magdalena were always very responsive whenever I had a question, and they also recommended us some great places to eat. I was very pleased on how clean the casita was. They provided everything you can need for a small trip, as a coffee lover I loved the Nespresso. My family and I arrived a little earlier than expected to San Antonio, and Jay and Magdalena were nice enough to let us check in earlier. I would definitely recommend Jay and Magdalena’s place to anyone planning on going to San Antonio.

The place was fine for what we paid for it initially. We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood but it was fine. The unit does need some work as the walls in the second bedroom are cracking and I am not positive the wall ac units would keep up with the Texas heat in summer. We had an issue that is clearly our fault my boys broke a lamp which of course is my responsibility but to value of the lamp in an extra bedroom was a little expensive. They did work with me and brought down the price of it, which I appreciate it.

Eric & Carolyn’s place was perfect for a fun weekend at the NCAA Final four tournament. It was an easy walk to the Alamodome stadium with the Riverwalk just a little farther away. The bed was very comfortable, we loved that the tv had an AppleBox, and having laundry facilities in the unit was very convenient. We loved how it is tucked away behind the main house (standalone building) and was super quiet. Thank you for sharing your guesthouse with us!!

This home is located in a beautiful neighborhood, spacious, and well appointed. Eva was a great host! Very responsive and friendly at all times. She even left a little welcome note and treat for us upon arrival, that was just such a nice token of appreciation. The apt was also stocked with a variety of water, coffee, and tea.

Nice place with good amount of space. Close to UTSA.
