We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on the Riverwalk in San Antonio! We had never been, and the area was perfect for us. It was a nice quiet piece of the Riverwalk, but a short little walk to the hustle and bustle. The suite we reserved was a perfect for us and our teenage daughter. Margaret is a GREAT cook. Every morning breakfast was amazing and she took great care of us. Roland was there Saturday morning and visited with each guest/family there and really took time to really visit with each of us and that was fun as well. We had never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before, so this was a great experience for us. I definitely recommend Inn on the Riverwalk for your visit to San Antonio.

If I had one word I would say enchanting. Loved the hosts and all the effort they put into making us feel comfortable. The chef turned out a delicious breakfast : blueberry scones, fruit and a casserole that was the best I’ve ever had. The conversation with the other quests added to the ambience. The place is absolutely beautiful , decorated with antiques, the rooms are gorgeous. An experience like no other.

This is a very charming cottage located behind the larger house. It feels a bit like a beach cabana, surrounded by a large courtyard with lots of places to sit and talk. The king-size bed is comfy and there is even a small side bedroom which we didn't use. Perhaps the best part was dining at the amazing La Fonda on Main, which is only a block and a half away. Upscale Mexican cuisine with an inviting outside porch for dining. It made for a wonderful evening.

Loved our stay at The Riverwalk Inn. I liked that we were on the river, but in a more quiet area. We could easily go find the lovely parts of the river and city, but then go back to a quiet and peaceful room. Walking along the river was beautiful. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. Loved that we had a mini fridge to hold our leftovers, and keep water chilled. The bedding was cozy, and my towels were plush! Would highly recommend staying here.

Between the host Don and the young man helping, Chance, communication was excellent. The Oge House is a perfect getaway. Very quiet and a great location. Great places for food and drinks. Easy to walk the river to get to the main Riverwalk area. My room was very comfortable and spacious for 2 people. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I just needed to get away with one of my good friends for the weekend the one night stay was perfect. The host was so nice, I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this place to just relax and decompress and enjoy the beautiful home for what it is.

Wonderful stay at this historic house. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful in the center of San Antonio. Walking distance to the Alamo and Riverwalk district and some very good restaurants there and along the way. Recommend Blush Cocktails & Eats as a brunch spot that is on the way to the Alamo from the house. Also recommend the boat tours on the River Walk at night, get your tickets and get in line early. Pool & hot tub were great too, not really a big deal to go across the street to it, just allocate a 15-20 minutes for the tub to heat up. Surprising good amount of off street parking at the property too - just know there is a $15/day fee to park. Truly felt like aristocracy staying here and will stay here again if we are in San Antonio.

It's right along the river so for the price it's pretty great! The room was beautiful as was the rest of the mansion and don was very helpful when it came to check in. Overall a lovely unique experience. I would stay again 100%. Don't think the place it's great for huge families but for a couples getaway it was perfect.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay. The Inn is located in a quiet area of the Riverwalk with parking available right out front, and it's a very short walk away from many bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Our room was comfortable (especially the bed), and the shared patio is gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast both mornings of our stay, and our hosts were very generous. I would definitely consider another stay here and will recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in the area.

Loved the stay! Checked in was easy and Roland was very quick to respond when I had a late check in. Great breakfast. The Bowie room had wonderful views of the Riverwalk. Great location! I will definitely visit again.

The location was perfect in all ways! A beautiful home that is walking distance from restaurants and attractions (no having to worry about finding parking near the Riverwalk). We traveled as a family and loved our stay. It was like staying with friends but also having our privacy. I can't wait to travel to San Antonio again to stay here! My daughter's baby tooth fell out during out stay (which we forgot to pack) however, Roland went out of his way to find it and mail it to us!
