Vacation rentals with beach access in Salcombe

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

The apartment was immaculate. Very well thought out and decorated in relaxing tones throughout. It had everything I needed. The views from every window were amazing especially the sunrise . Spectacular!

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

Prime location, as long as you don't mind a slight hill. Beautiful views. Nice and private. Perfect temperature. Cosy lounge and kitchen with lounge french windows with balcony overlooking a fantastic valley. Almost a sea view. One bedroom with ensuite, a bit small but the person who sleeps nearest the lounge door has access to use the other toilet and sink by the front door which we found useful. Hostess was available at all times by text and keen to make sure we enjoyed every minute, apologising for the slight noise next door whilst some building work was done to the front of the neighbours property. Very pleased that the host went that bit further leaving us milk, teabags, orange juice and milk and plentiful toilet rolls that was more than generous. This is our first experience of AirBnB and it has given us confidence to use them again. Anyone wishing to book here we would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Mat & Megan’s flat. Everything was clean and comfortable, communication was fast and clear, but the absolute stand out was the incredible views front and back.

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

Central location right on the beach as described. Thoroughly pristine modern and clean - plus Wi-Fi, that we had not even considered. Amy also included extra welcome pack in case you had forgotten anything which was very, very thoughtful. Best sleep ever - very comfortable beds and bedding. Fantastic shower room. Towels included. Hive heating, so was cosy and warm without being too hot. Totally fantastic experience. Would highly recommend. We didn’t have to contact Amy at all. She kept us updated all the way. Superb host, superb property and host. Thank you Amy. We had a fabulous holiday x

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars. Goodrington was a lovely sun trap out of the wind, we loved Cantina! The beds were so comfy and every room so light & spacious.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Brilliant home. We stayed for a 60th birthday so a mixture of ages, and we all loved it! The pub was a great touch! House was very clean and tidy, easy to find, great communications with owners, would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends. Would highly recommend!

Matthew was a fantastic host, extremely prompt with his reply clear instructions and plenty of recommendations. the apartment was better than the pictures. beautifully decorated, with so much space. Location is in the heart of the town so perfect for a seaseaside break in a Teignmouth. We will definitely be booking again!

We have stayed in Karen’s flat before. It is conveniently situated just around the corner from Preston Sands so is a quieter location but an easy, level walk to the sea. The private parking is a bonus at busy times and is reasonably spacious and easy to access. The flat was super clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Shops and takeaways all within easy walking distance too. Certainly hope to stay again and this is now the first place we check for availability when visiting our friends in the area.

A lovely, comfortable place to stay, with everything you need and in a great location, close to the beach as well as the town centre, but quiet as well. And best of all, the flat has super views of the Estuary and the spectacular sunsets. Jennifer is a great host, helpful and friendly. We've had a very relaxing break, and definitely hope to be back. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for two! Easy access to town promenade and the beautiful back beach Not our 1st visit or our last visit to Teignmouth but our first with Luke hosting…. We will be back! Everything you need, all has been thought of clean comfortable quiet with cream tea and bubbles on arrival! Had a fantastic sunny April week in Dawlish; the town centre is in easy walking distance for anything you need and the station is less than five minutes away with direct trains to Exeter and Cornwall. I didn’t touch my car once. The place is ideal for a getaway, tucked away in a side street with no passing traffic, and all the facilities you’d want to keep yourself busy for the week. I’ll definitely be back… just hope the weather is as kind again!

Perfect place to stay with my elderly parents for some house hunting in Seaton. Walkable to Local shops and restaurants, disabled parking almost right outside with no time limit. Helen also organised a parking permit for the local handy parking which I used too. The living space was open plan and very comfortable. Helen provided some milk and other extras which was kind and super useful. The bedrooms were pretty and nicely done and there was a lovely hot shower. Helen was super helpful.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.

Excellent, light, spacious, well-equipped, clean apartment. Ample crockery and cutlery - not always the case! Useful shoe and coat racks. Lovely views across to the sea from one side. Slightly strange location, with roads on two sides, but little night-time noise or light intrusion. Not great visibility when exiting from car park. Shame there is no outside space other than a shared bench. Easy walking distance (down/up hill) from resort centre and beach.
