Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sainte-Rose

We were perfectly hosted by Laurence, the accommodation is beautiful not to mention the breathtaking view. The environment is very peaceful, although access is sporty but doable we had a small Dacia and these directions for arrival are very precise. Laurence is very responsive and accessible, a pleasure to communicate with. Listing is as described. The stay was amazing.

Very nice bungalow located close to the misunderstanding beach with these turtles. Well located for visiting Basse Terre. Very nice pool and hot tub after a good day of hiking. Very nice host with her nice little girl who even invited our daughter to her birthday.

My stay at the Gîtes de la Réserve was excellent at every level! Naïdy is welcoming and very kind, I was able to discover some new Guadeloupe spots that I did not know thanks to her recommendations! The cottage is ideally located in Basse Terre with breathtaking views from morning to night (sunset guaranteed over the Cousteau reserve). The listing is as described with garden and jacuzzi available. Not far from a crossroads and leader price, not far from local fruit and vegetable sales and nearby restaurants (Bouillante and Malendure). If I return to Guadeloupe, I will be sure to come back to this area. 😃 See you next time, Naïdy!

Very nice, brand new and well-equipped accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful covered terrace outside where we had all our meals. Very nice view of the Cousteau reserve. The hot tub is perfect for the end of the day, not overlooked. We found a pathway to Malendure beach with the explanations given by Yves. The best part is that we were able to swim with 2 turtles. I would not hesitate to rent this place again if I had to come back to this beautiful part of the island 🤩

Very nice accommodation with a beautiful garden and sumptuous decoration. All the little touches are very much appreciated and Françoise and her husband are very warm, responsive and welcoming.

We loved our stay, the flowers and hummingbirds make the environment magical. Subdued light in the evening with the spa, everything is designed to relax. Virginie and Alain are very nice and discreet. Unforgettable stay.

We just left Paradise! Honestly, what Olivier & Renaud have created is nothing short but "Paradise". Our treehouse "the Explorer" was super nice, clean and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home. The welcome was very kind and communication throughout was perfect & quick. Both speak English very well and are honestly the loveliest, trustworthy guys and give you the best recommendations for foody places but also dive schools etc. which we happily used and can now also vouch for. We stayed for 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Well, there will be a next time for sure. Thank you, Olivier & Renaud - for sharing your beautiful home with us - it was a pleasure to meet you! ;-)

Great nice and comfortable place. Close to shops and village. Danila is very friendly and responds to requests. The place is central enough to visit Malendure, the Colis des Mamelles, hedges... In short, recommend

We had a pleasant stay at Sandra's, it is peaceful and in a good location. The outdoor kitchen with the small garden is lovely. The 180 bed is very nice. Sandra was responsive and friendly.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay! Sandra and her husband were warm, communicative and accommodating. On the first day, they provided breakfast and fresh pineapple, which was sweet and delicious! Sandra also helped me book the ferry over to Les Saintes and was an exemplary host! Always very pleasant and smiling. Gave us our space but were always somehow nearby if we needed anything! 10/10!!! The airbnb is to the centre of the island, so it was a central point to go exploring. Would recommend getting a vehicle if staying there because the access road to the main road is a bit long to walk. The accommodation is just as pictured. The kitchen and toilet were just outside the room, but the bathroom was inside. This was not a problem for me, but pointing out if it matters to others. There were some mosquitos but Sandra provided a net over the bed and a mosquito zapper so inside the room was fine. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend and would stay when in Guadeloupe next. Thanks for everything! <3

Very nice accommodation in Deshaie! I loved my stay. The directions to get there were very clear. The welcome basket was great and was very much appreciated (fresh fruits, rum, spread, bread, etc.). The accommodation was very friendly, 5 minutes' walk to the beach. For everything else, you need a car. Emy came to greet me. Super nice. She sent me a lot of recommendations.

We had a great time at Vana's place. Everything was perfect! The ideal location on the water, we recharged after a somewhat "sickly" start to our stay. If we had to choose from the 3 places we rented during our stay, it would be Vana's, without hesitation.

We LOVED our stay!! The view was stunning and the house was amazing. It was quiet and very private, yet the other rentals in the La Manon compound were close by and it felt safe and secure at the top of a mountain. Exactly as pictured and exactly what we were expecting. The house was not quite ready for us upon arrival so we went out for groceries while the cleaning lady was finishing up. A nice grocery store is just 15 minutes away with everything we needed. The house was so relaxing that we didn’t want to leave it for exploring the island, but enjoyed every outing we had with gorgeous scenery and beautiful beaches. We had stayed one week in Basse Terre and one week in Grand Terre and so glad we did. They are very different but each has its own charm and interest. Bernadette was an excellent, laid back host, always replying quickly and very friendly. We appreciated her speaking some English since we speak very little French. We would definitely recommend!

A big thank you to Dorkis and Jackie for this fabulous stay. We had a pleasant welcome and welcome products in the fridge. The view from the terrace is amazing, it should be featured more prominently in the photos but at least the discovery is surprising. The atmosphere is family-like, you feel at home from the start! Very good stay with our hosts. The instructions provided before check-in were helpful in finding the listing. Jean Marie was there to welcome us with a very cool planter! A lot of equipment is available. Easy communication with them. The place is quiet. The private pool is a big plus. We recommend. Access is facilitated by sending a geolocation.

The accommodation is as beautiful as in the photos. Note, however, that it is located more between Ste Rose and Deshaie than in the city of Ste Rose. A friendly welcome and a special mention for all the attention on arrival. The pool is lovely and the house is very well-equipped!

Suzelle and Claude are extraordinary hosts who are generously generous. They share their culture with passion. It's a great place to discover the West Indies. The apricot cottage is modest but it has it all for those who love adventure and discovery. We had a great stay with the family where we met great people. Hello, the location is perfect for visiting the whole island and being quiet in the evening. The pool is a plus when you come home after a long day of walking, hiking or other activities. A bathroom per room is very convenient. A large covered terrace also allows you to enjoy the outdoors even if it rains.

We had a great stay with the family at Villa Loéan. Breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea, well located in a quiet residential area, pleasant exteriors, with garden, pool etc… Everything is there to spend a good time, we recommend it. Very friendly welcome from Nella and good contact with our host Laurent who gave us some addresses.
