A perfect sanctuary. I felt at home immediately. Completely at ease and moreso with each passing day. The property is amazing and peaceful and healing, with many different choices for relaxing like the picnic table by the beautiful pond, the amazingly comfortable hammocks, the swinging bench chair just outside the back door, and the list goes on. And inside is just as wonderful. A very cozy bed, a desk at the window, a well-equipped kitchen (with hot plate(s) that does a great job!), shelving and storage for long stays, fantastic heat for the chillier days, and so importantly: a SPLENDID shower! It takes just a few minutes to heat up and then you can enjoy yourself with long-lasting hot water and great pressure. Amongst all this, the hosts Arianne and Mathieu are extremely kind and lovely people, very authentic and warm, as well as their two sweet and friendly dogs. I recommend this place with all my heart and soul. PS there are three towns within ten minutes for all your needs. A gem!
