Places to stay in Sapporo

It was our first time in Hokkaido and we wanted to find somewhere close to the city centre of Sapporo. This place was very homey, and very convenient with many paid parking spaces within the vicinity and a convenience store right downstairs. The shopping street was a short walk but manageable, the famous landmarks like Sapporo TV tower and Nijo market were also walking distance. Yumiko also gave good recommendations around the area 😊 overall great experience.

This apartment is a great choice for visitors to Sapporo - highly recommended!! It is located a few minutes walk from the streetcar stop, which connects to the subway stations. It is on a quiet street, in good proximity to combini and stores. The management company is incredibly professional and detail-oriented. The checkin instructions are precise and in great detail, leaving no room for error. The apartment is spacious, and is extremely well-furnished with absolutely everything needed by the guests. Everything is thought of and provided for, and is in excellent shape. I was impressed by their thoroughness.

Excellent location, spacious accommodations with nice views. Host initiated contact early on and leading up to our arrival. Host also provided local recommendations and directions for shopping, restaurants and attractions. Flexible check-in options of in-person or automated lock box. We had automated lock box and the detailed instructions provided made it very easy to retrieve keys. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I had the impression that you handled it very politely by sending me access instructions with images and room facilities information in advance. Regarding the facilities, the maximum capacity was 11 people, and it was impressive that there were two kitchens, baths, and toilets. Personally, I was quite happy that the water area was very clean. There is no parking on the premises, but there are many coin parking lots within a 5-minute walk of the neighborhood, and there was always a vacancy somewhere, so there was no problem at all. Access from the station is also good, so I think it is in a good location that is easy to get from both car and public transportation. Especially recommended for groups of 5 or more.

We had an amazing stay at Blue’s place! From the start, Blue was very accommodating—every request was granted, and all our communications were promptly answered. The check-in process was smooth, with clear instructions, and the appliances were easy to use, though having English labels on all of them would have made things even more convenient (thankfully, Google Translate helped!). The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Susukino downtown, with convenience stores on both sides, making it perfect for families and groups of friends. The space was generally well-kept and comfortable, though I’d suggest reducing the bed capacity in the family room to make it feel less cramped. One more suggestion: providing a Japanese address for guests to show to taxi drivers would be really helpful to avoid confusion with other AMS buildings. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I’d love to book this place again on my next visit. Thank you.

It was our first time using Airbnb. Thanks to this house, we really enjoyed our stay.

And we will be back next year.

Our family had a wonderful month long stay at Yoko’s beautiful home. Yoko’s house is at the end of the street in a quiet neighborhood in the forest. The winter scenery was stunning. The trees and snow made everything calm and peaceful. The huge garden was perfect for our kids to go sledding and play in the snow. The house is close to lots of parks and hiking trails, but also close to the subway and public transportation. Yoko was a fantastic host! She was extremely helpful, friendly, kind, and very good with children. She went out of her way to help us whenever we needed anything. We highly recommend Yoko’s house in Sapporo!
