Sora is located within the APPI Snow Mountain Resort area, just 2 minutes by car to the slopes and 5 minutes to the golf course. At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. It is a cool highland area at an altitude of 900 m, so you can enjoy the natural air conditioning in the summer and a comfortable stay in the warm rooms in the winter. [About the room] There are 2 Japanese-style rooms and 2 Western-style rooms where you can stay.There are other clean dining kitchens, spacious living spaces with veranda spaces, and two toilets and washrooms. The living space is also perfect for letting children play (with a baby gate). From the rim side, you can see the Akita Shinkansen Komachi running up close. [About access] From Tazawa Station, it is a 5-minute walk/If you come by car, please let us know at the time of booking. It is in a good location, 20 to 30 minutes by car to the surrounding sightseeing spots such as Tatsuko statue, Nyuto Onsen, Tazawako Ski Resort.The bus takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. [About the surrounding environment] There are supermarkets, drugstores, post offices, and public baths within walking distance.Recommended for longer stays.
