Our stay in Yoichi was fantastic. Aki was a brilliant and attentive host. She helped us out with lots of really great ideas about places to go and the best local restaurants. The house has been completely renovated and was spotless. We loved the open-plan layout with balcony downstairs, tatami upstairs and beautiful peaceful views out over the river, mountains and the sea. It's in an ideal location too, within easy walking distance of two great beaches, the centre of town and the train station. We can't wait to get back to Yoichi and will definitely be choosing Aki as our host again!

Amazing place right beside the parking lots for Niseko Hirafu ski resort. Extremely convenient. Just remember that this is a drive in location and you will have to make reservations at restaurants close by in order to guarantee availability.

Great stay for larger groups at a reasonable price. Loved all the space we had to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We all really appreciated the amenities like extra towels and blankets that were readily available. Two thumbs up from our whole group!

The parking lot was right in front of us, and the house was arranged. It is also equipped with condiments and cooking utensils There were two air conditioners on the second floor and in the living room I had a pleasant stay Alright, thank you

If you are skiing and unfamiliar with the area, this house is a great ootion as long as you have a car. Hirafu and Niseko village are only 10-15 minutes away. Other resorts are even closer. It is in a forest, so AWD is helpful. Onsens are close and there is a traditional small restaurant 5 minutes away that is wonderful. The house itself is rustic and cozy. The heating unit is remarkably effective for the LR, kitchen/DR, and sleeping loft. The shower/bath area will be on the chilly side but not a big deal. Close to day trips, such as the fishing town of Iwanai in a spectacular coastal setting with two art museums (oddly, one with a Picasso collection--but closed in winter).

Noboru’s place has been my favourite Airbnb ever! He was super welcoming and even picked us up at the Rusutsu Resort where our bus from Sapporo arrived. He also gave us a ride to our next accommodation in Niseko at the end of our stay. The house was super comfortable and the common room upstairs was really nice to relax and play cards while talking with the other guests. Noboru was happy to let us use the kitchen and dry our gear by the wood stove. He made us feel at home 😊 Also, having access to a car is a game changer in the area since we could access the ski resorts and also go on adventures to Lake Toya and Noboribetsu. The room was really nice and cozy too. I really appreciated the fuzzy blankets in the beds. Overall the house was awesome and the host, Noboru, was awesome and we can’t wait to come back!

The hot springs are spacious and pleasant enough.Futons and pillows are comfortable to sleep on.You can enjoy watching large TV screens such as Netflix. I visited with two people, but it's just the right size. Jozankei Onsen is a very good location. I would like to visit again slowly.
