Flaming Gorge Outdoor Fishing get away!!!

RobertRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This home is beautiful and was a blessing for our family/friends while on a group trip for an entire week. Renting several homes and rooms in Manila, this house was exceptional. The home is very comfortable, well decorated and spacious. The rooms are large and include entertainment in each. The kitchen is open, modern and felt like we had almost every item we needed. Easy to cook as there aren't a ton of restaurants in Manila. This home is very well kept and deserves to be respected. Hopefully each of us that stays will somehow improve the house for the next. Kevin is the host and you can tell he is a person of standards. We are very grateful for his sharing this beautiful house with our family and friends.

Zion Nature Park

We had a great stay. Loved the property and the pond. Even got fresh eggs from the host. It was in a great location, close to town and a short drive to Zion. The beds were comfortable, just wasn't a big fan of sleeping in a loft. Definitely a cute and relaxing place.

Brand New suites! Kayak or Bike to amazing views!

RyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
2nd time we’ve stayed at Colts in last 6 months. Any time we come up this way we will stay here. It’s perfect location between Zion, Bryce, Wave, White Pocket, and many more. 2 rooms with comfortable king size beds and their own bathroom. Our dogs loved playing with Brookie(there dog). And plenty of space for them to run around. We loved hanging out with their animals. Sheep, little goats, pigs, it’s a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy the days!

Scofield A-Frame: Cozy Mountain Retreat by Lake

AaronRating, 5 stars1 month ago
5 star hosts! Our stay at the Scofield A-frame was so much fun. It is a cute and cozy place right off the reservoir with an incredible view. The hosts were super responsive and friendly and the instructions provided were clear. They provide plenty of heaters, some games, WiFi, a TV, a little propane fire pit out back, a little fridge, microwave and toaster, a coffee machine with coffee pods, and video instructions for using the propane oven. Everything you need for a comfortable and fun little getaway! We loved Scofield and would work with Matt and Lauren again. Thank you for a great weekend and sharing your place with us!

Revered Hidden Lake Lodge @ East Zion & Bryce

AndreaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I have been Airbnb’ing since it started. THIS home is why I do it. So peaceful, spacious, a REAL vacation from home in a gorgeous home, with soul and all the amenities. It’s a perfect spot between both parks and close to a small town for all your needs. 💯 great home for all seasons. I’ve never returned to an Airbnb since I started in 2011 but totally considering it for a summer getaway. We stayed Thanksgiving week after a very busy Fall and it was serene, chilly but not too cold. Certain shops around the area, specifically north of this home weee already “closing for winter”. But if you want to get away from it all…this lake, sunrise, sunset and comfy couch is all you need.

Passing through town with friends after getting off our Grand Canyon raft trip. Perfect place to break up our drive and shower for first time in a month. Good food nearby and conveniently located across from maverick to gas up and snag a few things we had to leave in another car full of our gear post-trip.

Charming Modern Tiny Glamping Chalet #1

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jonathan’s tiny house was a perfect fit for our one night stay. We visited Utah to hike around Bryce Canyon. We only needed a cozy space to sleep. The A-frame was small but enough space for us. The heater worked great and heated the space quickly. We enjoyed the snacks and coffee available to us. As listed in the listing, the bathroom is a separate building but that was no problem for us. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. I would recommend Jonathan’s place if you’re looking for a cozy and affordable stay!

Great little place! Perfect size for 2 guests! Although we knew it didn’t have an oven, a little toaster oven would have been a great addition as would a few ice cube trays. Fire pit was great although we had the **** scared out of us when an animal of some kind ran past us🤭 Wonderful getaway!

We LOVED our stay here! The space is so cute and cozy (and warm in the winter months!) The place has everything you need for a couples retreat and glad we stayed on the east side of Zion (to get to drive through the park at night and see stars!) Plus, wake up to a beautiful view!

Edge of the Desert #18

Zac BentleyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This apartment is really spacious and clean, and the hosts were super friendly when we met them. The facilities are in great shape; the high-quality kitchen and washer/drier were especially appreciated (we stayed here after 4 days of camping/hiking, we needed it). The beds are comfy, the rooms are private, and the living space/TV room is well-appointed! Would absolutely stay here again!

Your guide to Utah

All About Utah

With more than 20 million acres of public lands and 14 national parks — Utah is where the rest of the country comes to stretch its legs. The Western state boasts a who’s who of natural features, from the craggy mountain peaks and sparkling salt flats in the north to the vast red rock canyons and sandstone deserts to the south. Ashley National Forest spreads over a million acres in the east, while in the middle of the state Fishlake National Forest is home to one of the largest organisms on earth, Trembling Giant, a stand of 47,000 aspen trees that share a single root system.

Away from the state’s wealth of national parks, which draw hikers, rock climbers, and skiers in winter, the capital city of Salt Lake City combines the fragrant roses of Red Butte Garden with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the famous melodies of the Tabernacle Choir, all against the backdrop of the snow-capped Wasatch Mountains. Neighboring Park City attracts Hollywood’s biggest stars to its independent film festival each year, while motoring enthusiasts from all over the world head to Bonneville Salt Flats near the Nevada border to watch speed records and even join in races.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Utah

Utah sports a diverse array of climates and landscapes. The preferred time of year to visit will vary drastically depending on what region you visit and what activities you plan to participate in. During the summer, expect dry conditions with climates that range from temperate in the mountain regions to blisteringly hot in the Moab area, with its windswept red rock formations and desert canyonlands. May through September can be a perfect time to try and find cabins for rent in Utah, as the summers in the mountains tend to offer the broadest range of recreational activities. The shoulder seasons see milder temperatures and spattering of rain in most regions of the state. During the winter, you will generally find snow and a host of exciting events like the famous annual film festival in Park City.

Top things to do in Utah

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is one of the most recognizable geological sites in all of North America. Historically the area’s dramatic limestone bluffs and slot canyons served as a throughway for Native Americans and pioneers in their travels west. Today, people come to the park to hike the Narrows — a deep gorge where the water can reach waist height — climb the red sandstone cliffs, and spot rock squirrels and bald eagles soaring overhead.

Scenic Byway 12

Take in the scenery along this historic route that connects Bryce Canyon and the Capitol Reef National Park by way of a roughly 120-mile picturesque drive through Utah’s dramatic landscapes. Mountain roads wind through pine forests and aspen groves before descending into canyonlands and the region’s iconic red rock formations.

Dinosaur National Monument

Home to one of the largest collections of prehistoric fossils in the world, Dinosaur National Monument offers an unrivaled insight into 150 million years of history. Check out the Wall of Bones, with more than 1,500 fossils embedded in the face of the rock. Or head into the museum, where you can take in the impressive collection of fully reconstructed diplodocus skeletons, bones from ancient crocodiles, footprints, and cultural artifacts found in the area.
