BIG Ocean View, pool,Full Kitchen, King, WiFi, 203

BethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay in Kapaa at Tom's Place - good instructions & parking pass were very helpful. The condo was very clean - thanks to Sheila! Plenty big enough for two of us. We enjoyed a great view of the ocean from the lanai. Also had a view of the pool and condos across the pool. Able to capture beautiful sunrise pictures. Nice welcoming basket :) Comfortable but soft bed (topper) - flat pillows (brought my own). Plenty of dishes, pans, & other kitchenware. Some spices, etc in pantry, along with two small coolers. Beach chairs, boogie board, and beach towels available for use. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner - small hotel tubes only. Plenty of hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels. Upgrade to larger TV would be nice! Very quiet - until the last night when a family arrived on the 3rd floor and apparently from a different time zone - Up at 5:00am!

Wonderful place to spend a family vacation, we felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful and located in a peaceful community. A short walk to the beach to enjoy a stunning sunset. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The house was clean, comfortable, and is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a fun day at the beach. We have stayed here twice and have not been disappointed on either trip.

Oceanfront Ground Floor Steps To The Beach {A/C}

CamilleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolutely beautiful place on Kauai. We loved staying in this area because it was less crowded, and still so close to so many things. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in, and all the extra things in the condo like a cooler and beach chairs just made our time at the beach so much better. Thanks Sara for letting us stay here and taking care of little details.

Panoramic luxury beachside condo in paradise A/C

AmyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is my most favorite stay in Hawaii. It’s more beautiful than the photos. The lanai is huge with sitting, eating, and laying down space. The remodels are all good quality and the furniture is all nice. The condo is stocked with everything really thoughtfully. The zipped up bag of beach toys and bag of snorkel supplies are both grab and go. There was an exercise mat for my needs. By the lanai, blankets you can use as you watch sunrise cozy. The beach immediately in front isn’t swimmable but that’s really nice because it’s totally private and makes for an unobstructed view of all ocean. You can walk about 300 yards to a swimmable beach or a 5 minute drive or bike ride to Lydgate for a great beach. Can’t say enough about this great stay! Thanks, Ali and Jeff!

Luxury Poipu 4br Villa with AC Walk to the Beach!

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our family of 4 adults and 2 children were very comfortable. One of us walked to the Grand Hyatt daily for a conference on the path between condo complexes, very convenient. The parking was easy, and the walk to the pool is beautiful. The apartment is large enough that we had space to be apart when we wanted. The big comfy couch was very relaxing, and we had enough space around the dinner table to eat together. The place is very clean, with fresh linens and towels. I really appreciate the beach toys, wagon, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We had great sleeps on the warmer nights with the central AC, and lots of fresh breeze on cooler nights with the windows open. Laundry was easy with both washer and dryer, and laundry detergent. The large fridge was very useful for all of our groceries and left overs from meals out. It was easy to cook, clean up, and make coffee/tea in the large kitchen space. I would definitely stay in this apartment again.

What a great location! Gorgeous home and perfect for our family of 6 (two couple and two teens) all comfortably sharing this 3 bedroom spacious home with our own bathrooms and the common area opening up to a beautiful lanai. The place is a very short walk to Brennecke and Poipu beach which we took full advantage to catch sunrises and sunsets while also boogie boarding. Thanks Gary!!

Princeville Paradise Home w/ AC - 4 BD 3.5 BA Home

PaigeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a beautiful house in a great location. Matt communicated with us right when we booked our stay about a year in advance, a week before we arrived with detailed instructions, the day of, and during our visit. We visited with our adult children, and the home was ideal. The bedrooms are large, and each has a bathroom. The living area was large enough for all of us to gather, but we also had plenty of privacy when we chose that. I cooked a number of meals, and the kitchen was stocked with what I needed. It was an ideal location for our vacation.

Kauai is a beautiful place and staying in Diana's home made the trip even more enjoyable. Her home is beautiful, well maintained, and just lovely. It was a perfect set up for our family. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom which after a long day at the beach when everyone needed to clean up and wind down was perfect!

Kauai's North Shore Is Truly A Tropical Paradise!

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Extremely responsive and proactive host. Really appreciated her willingness to speak on the phone and reach out to us through the messenger. We had no major issues. The place was spotless and well kept. I think I pointed out that the water pressure was a little high in the shower, but later I realized it was good fur getting the sand out of my hair. Would definitely book with this just again in the future.

Dreamy Beach, Stunning Views, Amazing! OCEAN FRONT

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
A dream! Our family had a marvelous time here. You cannot beat the location and view. Easy to get down to the beach and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing as it’s never very busy in the bay. We spent a ton of time just sitting out in the gazebo looking over the bay. The beach gear provided also came in extremely handy. Kauai in general is just a beautiful island that we immensely enjoyed. We loved being out of the main towns just enough to feel privacy but close enough to get there in no time. Thank you so much!

Princeville corner unit for 5; Ocean, Sunset, Golf

PeterRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Great place to stay in Princeville! Great amenities in the Airbnb to make living there easier. The condo does stay comfortable and cool through breezes and fans. Note that a rental agreement and your personal e-mail address are required for rental. Nothing significant is in the agreement but it is not noted in the listing.

LUX 1st floor condo 50 yds from Poipu Beach!

ShannonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The condo has the most beautiful grassy lawn that goes out to the ocean. The BBQ’s came in handy! The dishwasher doesn’t clean things very well so I alerted Sandy. She let maintenance know right away. Easy and fast communication! The bathroom felt slightly outdated with the travertine tiles that were chipped away around the window. Very minimal furnishings which makes you focus on the gorgeous view!

New Listing! Walk to Beach & Sunset Luxury Villa

AlexRating, 5 stars14 months ago
The house is beautiful and location is great - safe gated community with great walking paths around the course. Everything was clean and the house well equipped with towels and bathroom products etc.. Great lanai and well equipped kitchen and nice living space. Two convenient parking spaces if you need as well (though the parking garage is very tight if you have an SUV). Everything you could hope for and matches the description exactly. No AC (as they state in the listing) but the fans were good enough - the kitchen does get very hot if you are cooking as there is no fan coverage there. Highly recommend to others as a great place to stay. Host is super communicative and you have all the instructions that you need before and during your stay. Some difficulty with a kitchen item that was missing after check-out (which we believed was left behind) so recommend guests put everything back where you found it and be careful not to leave any marks on cookware. Thanks for hosting us!

Your guide to Kauai

All About Kauai

Kauai’s reputation as the most tropical of all the Hawaiian Islands is well deserved. The verdant isle, which erupted into existence over 5 million years ago, is 552 square miles of emerald jungles, jagged volcanic spires, lush waterfalls, aquamarine pools, and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. If you’re the active type, there’s so much to do on Kauai — hiking, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and much more. The island is also a mellower and less crowded experience when compared to either Oahu or Maui, and it’s not uncommon to find a stretch of beach or hiking trail to call your own.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Kauai

Vacationers will be pleased to know temperatures are pleasantly warm in Kauai year- round, peaking around August with an average of 85 degrees Fahrenheit. However, reflective of the island’s lush greenery, it also drizzles and rains year-round. The dry season spans from April through October, with wetter storms arriving more regularly between November and March. But rain is often intermittent, allowing interludes of sunshine to peek through most days.

Despite its Garden Island moniker, Kauai hosts numerous microclimates to prepare for if you explore beyond the beaches. These microclimates span from shirt-soaking humidity in the tropical rainforests to arid heat on the southwestern side, where cactus can be common. It’s always a good idea to pack a light windbreaker, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen when visiting Kauai.

Top things to do in Kauai

Na Pali Coast Trail

Even if you don’t consider yourself much of a hiker, the first 2 miles of the 11-mile out-and-back Kalalau Trail deserve the effort. The views along this steep oceanside trail are spectacular, with a picturesque pocket beach and the hidden valley of Hanakāpī‘ai awaiting.

Waimea Canyon State Park

Imagine the Grand Canyon overtaken by a tropical jungle and you get a rudimentary sense of the awe-inspiring vistas visitors experience while surveying this majestic, red-tinged canyon.

Mount Waiʻaleʻale

Anyone approaching the sheer emerald walls of Mount Waiʻaleʻale, which reach upward 5,148 feet, shouldn’t expect to stay dry. Reputedly the wettest place on Earth and the originating source of all seven of Kauai’s rivers, Mount Waiʻaleʻale requires a special guide (or helicopter ride) to explore, but is a uniquely Kauai experience.
