Stylish decor and a charming place to stay. Annex to a thatched cottage in a beautiful village with own its front door and parking. Spacious and comfortable bedroom, king size bed, extra seating, fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Good wifi and smart TV. spacious ensuite shower room. Underfloor heating throughout. Local pub is very welcoming and serves lovely food. station 5 mins, market town of saffron walden 10 mins, Stansted airport 15 mins and Cambridge 30 mins drive. we have 2 dogs.

A perfect stay Cute little house Clean and tidy, well presented. Be aware no parking specifically for house. A few mins walk away and you can park in lidl for 90mins for unpacking. Spiral stair case to bedroom, super fun for kids might not suit people with mobility difficulties.

A little away from the center, it’s not a problem though because every single way of transport it’s 5 min away from us. The place and Olivia were impecables always helping us in any needs or questions we came up with, for sure recommend and will be the place I’d stay coming back to London.

We had a fantastic stay at Andrew’s place! The accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos—beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The location was stunning, offering both privacy and a peaceful atmosphere while still being convenient for exploring the area. Andrew was an excellent host—very helpful and responsive, providing great recommendations that made our trip even better. Thanks to his advice, our travels went smoothly, and we truly enjoyed our time. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay again in the future!

What a gem of a place! The setting is delightful and the whole place is kept immaculately. It feels so private, and we were able to park on the property immediately outside the studio. We were lucky enough to have good weather and were able to sit in the garden whilst the sun went down before heading out for dinner. Diana was so welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations where to eat in Amersham, a short and very pleasant walk from the Barn. There was no shortage of choice. I wish we had stayed longer as it is walkable to the underground station with fast links to London and right on the edge of the Chiltern Hills for lovely walks . We will definitely visit again. Thanks Diana!

We had a wonderful stay! The setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a romantic escape. There was so much to enjoy right at the accommodation—the aqua centre was a real treat, and we had great fun relaxing in the snooker room. The space was clean, cosy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to couples looking for a romantic and relaxing stay in a unique location.

Nice clean modern apartment with good amenities and some nice extra touches. Location fantastic for all needs including shops, bars, restaurants & great transport links. A very house proud host. Guests should be reminded that whilst the location is great & right near the Town centre, it means some local noise ( traffic, voices) can be heard some nights very closely. Didn’t ruin the trip though. Parking spot is a great bonus directly outside the apartment if needed.

Our stay at Mark and Dee’s lovely home was wonderful. The location was truly perfect and completely convenient —lots of shops and restaurants and a 5 min walk to the central line. The home was beautiful with modern appliances, a lovely back garden, and enough space for our entire family to have their own bedrooms and baths. Lastly, Mark and Dee were always responsive and ready to help with any questions and or concerns that we may have had during our stay. We will definitely be staying at Mark and Dee’s again in the future.
