House vacation rentals in Rowan County

What an amazing place! It’s as if you are stepping into the early 90’s, but on a lake, with a pool! We had a small gathering to play cards (we are nerds) and made a small fire by the lake, lit by the moon. The pool is phenomenal, I believe it is salt water ad there was no chlorine smell. The place is well appointed and modern and the bed we stayed in was very comfortable! The hostess is stellar and the place is easy to find and park. The outside area was unbelievable, this is the perfect getaway!

Laurie’s home holds so many memories for our family . We had a fabulous trip . Laurie’s home has all the comforts of home . We will stay there as often as we can .

The cottage is a beautiful escape into an quieter and simpler way of life. Well equipped. Easy commute to the transportation museum, downtown shops and restaurants and wineries. Our second stay, and the whole family had another truly remarkable experience. Will be back 💕

Thanks everything was great from me asking how far you were from the location of our event for the weekend. To me and my family making memories. It’s hard to make memories with adult children in the start of their careers but this home allowed my husband and myself to make those memories. From myself and my youngest being able to open the windows and talk to my husband and my oldest down on the dock fishing and my grandpup watching his mom and pop pop fish with granny and auntie. So thank you for opening up your home to us. It’s definitely worth the money!

Overall the house was fantastic, very clean space with a lot of it! We had a fantastic time and enjoyed being in and around the house. The outside was lovely and beautiful scenery. The rooms were comfortable and provided a lot of space. The only issues we had is that it is run by a company so you basically have a different contact each time you message which can be confusing and resulted in different information being relayed (check in code, late checkin/checkout, etc). My other complaint is there is a cleaning fee included, however there seemed to be a good bit that had to be cleaned (beds stripped and washers started, all trash fully taken out, etc). Nothing crazy, but more than a typically Airbnb that includes a cleaning fee.

We felt right at home. Great host and always answered our questions. We will definitely stay at this place again.

This is our second time staying at this property. House is very clean and nice neighborhood. James gives you his cell number if you have any issues during your stay he is very response on answering you. We had a great stay!

Michelle’s place was extremely clean in a very nice & quiet area. Michelle was very attentive when it came to communication, and she was completely understanding of me and my guest current situation which is highly appreciated. This was a great stay, and i will definitely be returning. ❤️

Nice clean home. In a reasonably quiet neighborhood. We felt that spending close to $300 (including all fees) was a lot for one night. Otherwise no complaints.

University Mill House was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay while in Kannapolis. The home is lovely, tastefully decorated, spotless clean, and filled with any house amenity you might need. The area has lots of walking trails. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and even a museum and a ball park within minutes of the home. We couldn't have been happier.

Clean and was a peaceful stay . The Airbnb bedrooms were large spacious and had high ceilings . I was relaxed and enjoyed that outdoor decking at night with the lights on definitely would rent again. Old world meets new world . Thank you .

Nikita was easy to communicate with. Property is walkable to downtown Kannapolis attractions without being in the middle of everything.

Avery was a great host and very accommodating. Would have stayed longer if it was closer to my work.

Man, what a fantastic few days!! My 16 year old son and I always take a few days to go somewhere and unwind. This time we chose this location and I am so glad we did. We got there late at night, but by the morning, every care, worry or stress was we had was gone. It is so peaceful & relaxing, it was the perfect spot. Communication with the host’s was equally as good. Anytime I had a question, they responded quickly & politely. Would definitely stay again, thank you for a great few days.

A beautiful historial home awaits with an excellent floor plan wonderful relaxing porch with a swing included. Fun to be had by all with a pool table , games and room to relax . An absolutely stunning dinning room with a fully stocked kitchen for romantic meals or food delivery. Just blocks from downtown restaurants, shops and the NC Transportation Museum which everyone should tour. This home is a winner for you and your family and we will return next year!!!

Great place! It was in a pretty rural area so it was very quiet and peaceful. It wasn’t very far by car to any of the necessities (i.e., gas, groceries, restaurants, etc.) which was very nice for us because it was our first time in the area. Jeremy was a great host as he was responsive and accommodating. Definitely wouldn’t mind staying here again the next time I am in town.

We had such a lovely weekend getaway—everything was spotless and exactly as described, which made us feel right at home. Jordan was incredibly kind and quick to respond, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches; we’d recommend this place to anyone!

Very beautiful and secluded area. I enjoyed the private beach and dock where we had our dinner. Everything was set and clear instructions were given when we checked in and checked out. I will be coming back here again!
