This was a nice, tucked away spot in the PA Wilds that was still close to the conveniences of town. Perfect comfy home base for exploring the wild and natural areas around without having to camp.

Our week stay at Portage Camp was wonderful. We went on three hikes and enjoyed the late autumn weather. The cabin is very comfortable with a warm heater and very soft beds. We made our meals inside this time in a large kitchen that is very efficient. The evenings were spent in front of the TV. Regardless of the season, the cabin has everything you need. Can’t wait for springtime.

Might just be the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. There were so many little things that made the place extra thoughtful. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Very clean. Had some games and smart tvs. Walking distance to cafe, shops, and a little movie theater. The hosts were so sweet and shoveled our driveway when it snowed. 8 of us stayed for a birthday trip and there was plenty of space for us.
