Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Roscommon County

Beautiful home! Loved the view, even the master bedroom had an amazing view! Great beach area. Loved the dock, the bench at the end was picture perfect! Kitchen and bathrooms had all the amenities. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. So peaceful, unforgettable views!

The home was very clean. It sat off the road and had a fenced back yard so our dog could run in the yard without worry. It was warm and cozy inside. Deer walked right through the yard! I took pictures of them. It was close to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again!

We, a family of 5 and 1 pup, stayed for 5 days. The time went too fast! We felt immediately at home the minute we walked in. Checkin was super easy and the house is walking distance to Higgins lake. Edyta had thought of everything from extra dog leases, a dog bed, to a trunk of items you may need. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful for my birthday, leaving me a lovely card and gift. (Thank you again Edyta 💛) She responded within minutes to a fire alarm battery that went dead during our stay. The problem was resolved within 15-20 mins. The house itself is so great! Spacious enough that we could all have quiet moments if we were tired or come together in the giant living room. We had a blast watching the Tiger’s game from the hot tub. I highly recommend this place and the host. My best stay at an AirBnb by far. We certainly will be back next year!

Our stay was a very positive one. The hospitality of both the owners and managers was fantastic. Managers lived right across the street which was super convenient just in case they were needed. The home was well furnished, cutely decorated and it was very home like. We had an overall great experience!

Very comfortable place to stay. This was the most well-stocked Airbnb I've ever been to.

The house was clean and had a book of recommended restaurants and activities. Driveway was great- we had plenty of room for our 24ft trailer, our truck and a blazer. We had a great time! -Bonus- there are 2 smart tvs:)

The home was perfect and in a great location. We brought our side by sides up, trailhead was just a couple minutes down the road. Nice neighborhood. Kellie was very friendly and responsive, made sure we got in okay and checked in throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues during our weekend stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sloanhouse. It was more than roomy for our family of 5, especially for the area, and we have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals in Houghton Lake. The kitchen has everything you need, every room was clean, and warm (we were lucky and it even snowed during our visit). We will be looking to stay here again when visiting our family in the area.

Fawn was excellent at communicating and her cleaning skills are immaculate! She has great taste in decorating and maximizing the space of the apartment. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place, comfy, warm and well appointed. Highly recommended as a quiet lakeside retreat within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Will stay again in the future, great little up north lake town.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

This space was a wonderful home base for us and our baby! Lots of floor space for her to play, and right next to a lovely coffee shop and a pizza spot. Highly recommend!

Place was extremely clean and everything as advertised. Communication was smooth. The people above us partied all night and had a dog that barked until 1am so that part sucked but not really the Airbnb’s fault.

This was our first stay at an Airbnb. It was fantastic!! It met our needs, it felt like we were in our own home. Denise responded to all communications quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here! We will be back!

My family shared the rental and celebrated Thanksgiving. We appreciated that the home was both dog friendly and clean! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and serving wear. We had plenty of space to play games, visit and lounge. We had a question about something and Krystle responded right away. Highly recommend!

It was a nice place to stay for work, and had all the amenities I needed. In addition to being close to the job it was also close to town, making it easy to get what I needed for work and myself.

The cabin was cute and cozy! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely book again!

Denise was very responsive. Her place was perfect if you have doggies. Great backyard with a fireplace and jacuzzi. Her place was perfect for us. I would recommend her air b&b to others. It’s very close to the lake. As well as 10-15 min from state park and quad park.. A tip — I would use Walmart or grocery store prior to coming. For those last min things forgotten behind. The local party stores hike the prices. We packed a cooler of some stuff. Also forgot some stuff needed. I loved the renovation inside a modern cabin touch. Perfect for kids too. If you have any. Overall quiet sub! Overall great experience !!! Ty Denise will come back!!
