Beautiful home! Loved the view, even the master bedroom had an amazing view! Great beach area. Loved the dock, the bench at the end was picture perfect! Kitchen and bathrooms had all the amenities. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. So peaceful, unforgettable views!

The home was very clean. It sat off the road and had a fenced back yard so our dog could run in the yard without worry. It was warm and cozy inside. Deer walked right through the yard! I took pictures of them. It was close to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again!

We, a family of 5 and 1 pup, stayed for 5 days. The time went too fast! We felt immediately at home the minute we walked in. Checkin was super easy and the house is walking distance to Higgins lake. Edyta had thought of everything from extra dog leases, a dog bed, to a trunk of items you may need. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful for my birthday, leaving me a lovely card and gift. (Thank you again Edyta 💛) She responded within minutes to a fire alarm battery that went dead during our stay. The problem was resolved within 15-20 mins. The house itself is so great! Spacious enough that we could all have quiet moments if we were tired or come together in the giant living room. We had a blast watching the Tiger’s game from the hot tub. I highly recommend this place and the host. My best stay at an AirBnb by far. We certainly will be back next year!

This place was amazing beautiful inside and out. Great location would recommend it to anyone who wants to be on Houghton Lake during winter and I can only imagine summer be an even better. Rebecca was super responsive and super friendly.

We booked this place last minute, and couldn’t be more glad we did! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making the whole experience seamless. The house itself is stunning—clean, well-organized, and beautifully set up. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! The surroundings are equally beautiful and added so much charm to our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat.

Fawn and Jeremy have a very nice place that is updated and very well taken care of. House is close to restaurants and lots to do.

Could be a little confusing to get to without the clear instructions given at check in. Appreciated quick responses when we had questions!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

This is our second time staying. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. We were arriving late and check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

This space was a wonderful home base for us and our baby! Lots of floor space for her to play, and right next to a lovely coffee shop and a pizza spot. Highly recommend!

Place was extremely clean and everything as advertised. Communication was smooth. The people above us partied all night and had a dog that barked until 1am so that part sucked but not really the Airbnb’s fault.

Larkin's Cabin was so peaceful, tidy, accommodating, and cozy. The cabin is very nicely decorated, with high end furnishings. All bedrooms and bathrooms were neatly prepared for guests and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Extremely pet friendly, but also very clean and no evidence of pets was found on furniture or bedding. The host promptly answered all my questions and was very helpful when we had an unforseen situation. The cabin is very private, yet quite close to main roads for ease of travel. Absolutely gorgeous and warm during a Michigan snow event. Watching it snow on the trees was so calming. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our likely to rent again in the future. Thank you again for exceeding our expectations!

Denise was very responsive. Her place was perfect if you have doggies. Great backyard with a fireplace and jacuzzi. Her place was perfect for us. I would recommend her air b&b to others. It’s very close to the lake. As well as 10-15 min from state park and quad park.. A tip — I would use Walmart or grocery store prior to coming. For those last min things forgotten behind. The local party stores hike the prices. We packed a cooler of some stuff. Also forgot some stuff needed. I loved the renovation inside a modern cabin touch. Perfect for kids too. If you have any. Overall quiet sub! Overall great experience !!! Ty Denise will come back!!

Shawn was a fabulous host. He responded very quickly and was super nice. The cabin was very clean and just what we wanted. Close to things, yet far enough away you arent in the middle of things. We would definitely stay here again. The only problem we had was google maps shows the cabin further down the road, not any fault of the host, just something to be aware of.
