Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Roosevelt Island

Heba’s kitchen was complete. We prepared some dishes to take to an event. The kitchen was big enough for four of us to work together during food preparation.

Me and My Family stayed @ Alex & Vannie's House for a second time and we had a great time again . they are friendly and reliable and took care of us . my daughter always enjoy the pool when we come here . their home is clean and comfortable and the area was quiet if you want to get some relaxing days I'd recommend to stay here .

Emily's place was perfect for a NYC visit! The house is very comfortable and spacious and well appointed. It is easy to walk to Main Street and to the grocery store. The NJ transit is also walking distance away. We visited family in Short Hills for the Holidays and it made our trip easy and enjoyable.

We lived in this property for 6 weeks with our kids and loved every moment! The house is very cozy and family friendly, it feels like you're staying in your cousins house. There is plenty of space for kids to hang out, books, and a great kitchen to prep meals. There is a good working space too. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and you can walk 10-20 mins and find resturants, parks, and the train station to the city. For members of the Jewish community- you'll find Kosher food and synagogues nearby. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, they took great care of us and came by several times to help us with what we needed. Our experience was the best we could have hoped for and we hope to be back for another stay. Other reviews mentioned the bathroom doors being see-through, you can just tape some paper on them, it's not a big deal. Pedro's place is immaculate. Cannot say enough, Very tidy, clean and homey and most of all Pedro is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He goes over an beyond for his guest. I have been using Airbnb for 13 years, this is my first time encountering such a welcoming host. Thank you Pedro! Will definitely be back.

Booking with Aliza was amazing! The house was beautiful and so clean! We were in town for my best friend’s wedding and we felt right at home! She was also so attentive and responsive!

Ave Union is our home in NJ. We always stay here whenever we come to NJ and it has always been the best and still is the best! Everything stated on the descriptions are true and even way better. Nicole has been very attentive and kind to us, including every staff there. I didn't get everyone's names but they all have been the best. We love staying at Ave, it's a very safe location where you could also stroll or jog at the same time, perfect train access right outside the place. Going to NYC has been so easy! We are proud to say that we always will choose Ave, it's got all the things you need and the entire place is so cozy. We are so grateful for everyone's kindness and appreciate you all. I definately recommend this to anyone coming to NJ or NYC. It has always felt like a home and you can even hangout downstairs for some hot drinks. Perfect spot to stay and catch Bus to NYC. Super Clean. FULL Kitchen with every necessity very well thought out. Maggy was very responsive and accommodating to our requests! We would certainly stay here again for future NYC visits. FULL FIVE STARS!

I had a wonderful stay at Mira’s apartment! It was so conveniently located near Grand Central, and it made getting around NYC so easy. The studio is very roomy, and it was comfortable to cozy up for a movie night. I was also surprised by how relatively quiet the streets were at night, considering this is Manhattan. All in all, the place was great and Mira was great to correspond with. Would stay again!

Greg’s place is extremely clean and comfortable. He’s a great communicator and very responsive. I would definitely stay again.

Candy and Will were great hosts.. Responsive and informative about the apartment. The apartment was as described -clean- comfortable- easily accessible and warm. ( January weather!) The neighborhood was great for a morning walk.. The bed was incredibly comfortable.. just what I needed after a 4 hour drive.. And a comfortable room with a cozy gas fireplace! Would happily return.. This was perfect for our family of five. We loved having space to spread out, and the kitchen was perfect for making a couple of small meals. The White Star bar across the street was adorable, and perfect for eating in or ordering to-go. The only thing I would do differently is to fly into Newark rather than JFK—the uber ride to the airport took over an hour.

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

Chingi was a very accommodating host and easy to communicate with. He had some rules that it seems like others struggled with but for our stay the rules were clear and fair

I had a wonderful stay! Linyan was incredibly friendly, super helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions I had. The place was comfortable and had everything I needed. If I find myself in New Jersey again, I would definitely love to stay here once more. Highly recommend!

We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.

the views from this castle is spectacular! The space is so airy and bright😇 with good ferries right to Manhattan. The host was very responsive, accommodating and even left us stay a few extra hours! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back😁

Linyan is the best host ever! She made us feel like staying at home. Because of the flight issue, my daughter and I arrived the house almost midnight. Linyan was waiting for us and help us move our luggage into the room. She even provided us some dumplings! The unit we stayed was perfect for us! Two spacious bedrooms with clean beddings. Private bathroom was only for us. The kitchen is shared but we are allowed to use anything in the kitchen. Linyan is very friendly and always there to help. After a big snow she helps me to clean my car. My daughter and I spent 4 wonderful days in Linyan's house. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this unit.
