Dome vacation rentals in Rocky Mountains

We did a friends weekend getaway to Paso Robles, and Steven's place was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The house completely blew us away with its cool architecture, artistic furnishings and stunning 360 views of the surrounding vineyards. We loved how the dome shape emphasized communal spaces making cooking and socializing a breeze. Nothing we wanted to do or see in Paso was more than a short drive away but honestly we could have never left the Dome all weekend and been perfectly happy. Thank you Steven for curating this unique space!

We stayed at the Mother Earth 'Turquoise' Hogan (#2) - Kayenta, Arizona in September of 2021. We only stayed one night. We said when we left that if we ever got back to the area, we would stay two nights. We found ourselves in Glorieta, NM near Santa Fe the end of March in 2025. We drove six hours to stay here again, which meant we traveled 12 hours out of our way from the way we were headed. Staying in Roslyn's Hogan near Monument Valley is worth the trip. The Hogan is a very spiritual place, very quiet and private. She serves you Navaho fry bread with honey for breakfast and Navaho Tacos or soup for dinner for an extra charge. Spend the money, the meals are very good. You look out the door of the Hogan that faces East and you see Monument Valley spread out in front of you with no obstructions. Roslyn's hospitality is superb. You cannot beat the massivie and beautiful surroundings of this place.

I came to this beautiful oasis for a birthday trip and our stay was perfect! Debby was very accommodating and let us know where all the best food places were! Would definitely stay here again.

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Really a great and nifty place to stay! Perfect location close to Purgatory and the hot springs. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for having us! What a beautiful, serene environment, the dome is truly magical. Roisin is a wonderful host - kind, responsive, and helpful with many recommendations for the local area. The sauna was a welcome bonus, and we enjoyed our time greatly. One tip for future guests - don’t think it snows that much in Lund, but if so, suggest to bring an AWD or 4x4; local country roads can get a little a hairy. Thank you again Roisin!

Ill have to say that of all the airbnb places we have stayed i really felt like i was at home this place is very recommended for any event or a romantic getaway or for your family !!! Thank you ellen for everything God bless you and we look forward to another stay some day .

This is a great location. We had so much fun exploring the nearby parks and enjoying some nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed hanging out around the hot tub, the fire pit, and the large dining room table inside. There was plenty of space for our four couples. We ate several meals in and enjoyed the peaceful and private location. Martha was great to work with.

The geodome offered an extraordinary and one of a kind stay, blending comfort with the serene beauty of nature. It was the perfect retreat to unwind, reconnect with the outdoors, and truly appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Grace’s warm hospitality stood out; she went above and beyond to make sure we were not only well taken care of but also felt genuinely welcome throughout our stay.

We loved staying at the dome. It was just as described. We had an amazing views and enjoyed star gazing at night. It was peaceful and relaxing. Carol and her husband were very responsive, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the area (Ghost Ranch, Abuquiu Lake, and local wineries). The Cafe Sierra Negra and Mamacita's Pizzaria nearby had great food if you didn't want to cook. The Dome has an outdoor BBQ and fire pit and a relaxing deck. The lot is fenced in which was great for bringing our dog. We loved our relaxing weekend and are looking forward to coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay! 2 nights was not enough. The dome was everything we hoped it would be and the property was beautiful. The chickens walking around and their wonderful dog, Oden, added so much to our experience. One thing I don't remember being in the description, but is worth noting, is that the loft bed is a king! And very comfortable and cozy. We really couldn't have asked for more in our stay. Alyssa, the co-host who met us when we arrived was friendly and helpful. As were Tyler and Lucinda. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline and felt comfortable walking around the property. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful too. Nestled in a private area in the trees, it was magical under the lights at night. We can't wait to go back.

Had a lovely stay at The Dome House. Everything was extremely clean and organized. The kitchen cabinets are all labeled, so things were easy to find. The views are amazing all throughout the house, and you can hardly hear the highway nearby. The location is great and feels very private, and is only about 10 minutes from town. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing getaway tucked away in the mountains of Estes Park.

This unique getaway was wonderful!! We had a quiet romantic mini-vacation and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet. There were wild turkeys wondering around, a relaxing hot tub, and the bed was extremely comfortable! Exactly what we needed! Thank you!

Such a wonderful time at Amity Grove! Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and curated a perfect stay for our big group of girlfriends! Will be returning!

Nate’s place is convenient, unique, & beautiful! Only issue we had was the heating (there was a wind chill of 14 degrees which we have been told is unseasonably cold for this area in April) & even with that Nate communicated quickly & offered whatever we needed! The place has gorgeous views, an adorable lake, & great restaurant (Rim Rock) next door! I wld definitely stay there again!

Sheila‘s accommodation was thoroughly thought through has absolutely everything you can need in the most perfect location possible. it was the perfect glamping experience. The small downsides were the shower hose not being hooked up when we arrived and the pressure isn’t enough to shower in once we did. Hot tub temperature isn’t accurate, we had turned up the heat but it was bath water at most.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dome. The views were spectacular and the bed was super comfortable. I could have stayed in bed and looked out the window all morning. Don’t hesitate about booking this home. One of a kind stay! We drove into Madrid and had dinner at The Mine Shaft Tavern. Food and service were great. You should definitely try the margaritas!

We loved our stay at The Acorn Dome! Beautiful and inspiring surroundings and it felt like we were away from it all while being completely comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy. The detached bathroom and shower were awesome and the heater/ac in the dome worked perfectly! The kitchen was everything we needed-little fridge, induction oven and toaster oven-we made a great breakfast before checking out and making our way into downtown Ashland (which is only a few mins from the dome’s location). I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting the yurt/geo dome experience while also staying warm, clean and cozy. And Ashland downtown is close by and is the cutest town with some of the best coffee (Equator Coffee). Okay! Stay here! ♥️

The best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Quiet, peaceful, absolutely breathtaking setting. Hot tub is divine, all the furniture was very comfortable, and the movie projector and curtains were a perfect way to end the day. Jonathan has a multi-page, highly detailed help guide for just about everything in the geodome. Cannot recommend staying here more.

My husband was very nervous about staying in a Dome- he is a hotel kinda guy- and he said he would go back in a heartbeat! The instructions were thorough, the location was convenient for our Black Hills adventure, and the beds were so comfy! Bonus points for a lot of space for our kids to run around and get their energy out before bed! I would totally recommend this to anyone!

Very nice place to get away from town! The host was very friendly and responsive. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the dome, very peaceful and has lots of character:)

We had an amazing night in the dome tent! Enjoyed a fire with s’more’s in the evening and coffee by the fire in the morning. Beautiful spot and very close to town and Hurricane Ridge! Highly recommend!

This was a fun place to land. The scenery is gorgeous. It was a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Loved it!
