Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Roanoke

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

We chose Wei's place in Lowgap for a weekend getaway for our family of 7, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The scenery while relaxing on the front porch was breathtaking and the creek was beautifully peaceful. The hot tub, fire pit, pool table, air hockey and bonus axe throwing were all enjoyed by the adults, while the spacious yard was perfect for our toddler granddaughter to run around. Everything was exactly as pictured, and Wei checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend nearby Round Peak Vineyards for the live music and views and The Farm in Dobson for fall fun!

We love the Small house. This was our second time staying and we really do feel right at home. The house has everything you need and the outdoor property is perfect for spending time outside with the dogs. The hosts are top notch…Jennifer is super responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

This is a Beautiful renovation in a quiet area that is close to downtown Mayberry. It is also close to a grocery store, restaurants, etc. The owners provided shampoo, bath wash, shower cap, coffee, creamer, coffee maker, paper towels, & provided most things we needed and a few extras too like fruit bars & water! Also the instructions for the tv were very clear. It is a Great house & we had a very nice trip! Our fur family member (Charlie) loved Mayberry & was very comfortable in the house, no big steps in the front since Charlie is an older Lab. It was a great house to stay in!

Deborah was very responsive from day 1 until after check out, even when I asked for advice on a local place to host a Rehearsal Luncheon. Her house was beautiful and peaceful! There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The property was GORGEOUS! I wish I could've spent more time there. I hope to go back again sometime!

Your house is absolutely spectacular, especially for the Christmas season. I was in love with everything you had in the house. It was peaceful and calming. I will definitely be back again, I can't wait tp see all the different holiday decorations you have. Thank you for the treat basket, it was great for the kids.

What a special property Thong has. From the moment we drove down the driveway we were in awe. It was the perfect weekend getaway to gather with family and relax. Although it was freezing we still enjoyed some fishing off the dock and admiring the lakefront from the cozy living room. We hope to make it back sometime in warmer weather.

Returning Guest, Everything is lovely and have great communication

The guest house is small and cozy - perfect for our home base in the Lovingston area. Ed is an attentive host and generously allows guests to use the amenities around the property. The nights are quiet and beds are very comfortable. The two of us will probably book again with Ed when we're in the area.

We recently stayed at Beverly's with my 1-year-old. Her Air BnB is a perfect set up for a little kid - she has a crib, lots of kids toys, a great layout for a toddler, and above all a beautiful outdoor space for a little one to run around. Beverly's instructions were very clear and she provided specific updates based on the current season and the weekend we were staying. She is a very kind person and the Air BnB was immaculate. If you are an outdoor person you will absolutely love the area - the AT is relatively close by and lots of great trails in the area. There is no cell service for several miles around the house but the Wifi worked great. What a nice and refreshing weekend. We were so thrilled with our stay there and we definitely recommend this Air BnB.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

Great place to unwind. Backyard coy pond and zen vibes were brilliant. Bed super comfy. Anna was punctual and responded within 10 minutes. Lovely place! The warm ambiance and cleanliness and welcoming scents were so homey!

Had an amazing stay at Amy's place. Cozy and had everything we needed! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay right in front of the river!

We stayed over Thanksgiving. Tamara invited us to share Thanksgiving with her. While we already had a place to go, Tamara went above and beyond the call of host to invite us to Thanksgiving.

I enjoyed my second stay at Jane’s. Jane is always responsive and provides a clean, safe, place to stay.

My go to spot to get away. Love the easy access, it’s priced well and has everything I need for a quite weekend

We loved the cabin. It was warm and inviting with plenty of amenities. We have three dogs and they loved the area. The location felt private enough to allow them off leash to explore. This was our second stay at the cabin and won’t be our last!

could not have asked for better hosts. we had some issues with the water and they were very quick to come check it out even though it was working by the time he got there , extremely sweet people. hope to stay again soon!

We truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at this peaceful and beautiful location. The views are amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck and taking them in (even in the frigid cold!) The decks are so nice with great furniture/rockers. We had everything we needed in regards to pots/pans etc to cook our Thanksgiving meal. The beds were very comfortable. The virtual guidebook was helpful either instructions and helpful suggestions. We would definitely stay here again and Alison was a very responsive host!

This was our second visit to Vicky’s cabin, and it didn’t disappoint. The serene, private setting provides a perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life. We loved sipping wine on the screened-in patio, listening to the soothing sounds of the river below. The cabin is also conveniently close to some of the most stunning views on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can’t wait to return for our third stay! Thanks again for another lovely visit!

We had a great time, especially our dog had the time of his life and didn’t want to leave. We‘ll definitely come back.

Rhonda was proactive in contacting me prior to our stay. She answered all my questions within a short amount of time. Her & her husband are great hosts and you can tell they truly care about their guests. The space both inside and out was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday.

I stayed at the Cabin with my nineteen-year-old daughter and it was the perfect site for some meaningful mother-and-daughter time. We loved the peaceful setting and the privacy, especially when using the hot tub. It was nicely located--we made a day trip to the Warm Springs, which was fabulous, and another to Roanoke. Barry and Theressa was very responsive when we needed help, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy ourselves. I will definitely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grandview Cottages. The host owner was excellent with communication. The house was as described, very clean,well stocked and the views could not be beat off the decks. The home borders an animal game reserve so that provided a great experience to see fantastic animals through the fences and fields. Would definitely visit again.
