Cottage vacation rentals in Roanoke

We had a fun time at Chris’ lake house. It was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities as described. Hot tub (with its private surround) was enjoyable during the winter temps. Ample kitchen supplies since there aren’t any restaurants around. Make sure to get groceries beforehand!

Rachel‘s adventure cottage was the best place for a Valentines getaway! It was peaceful, it was private, and had great hiking opportunities. The hot tub at the end of the day was definitely the cherry on top. One thing to be wary of is coming during the rainy season. We came during late winter so as the snow was melting it was also raining which flooded the incoming roads. Regardless of the little hiccup on our trip, we brought enough groceries so we made the most of it!

Me and my friends had a fantastic stay at Zeb and Ellen’s cabin. The house itself was clean and very homey. The hot tub was very clean (which isn’t always the case for other places) and we really enjoyed the fire pit. The hosts provided a lot of amenities, including firewood for a couple fires, a s’mores kit, and even some samples of a nice organic skincare brand. They were also responsive, and super helpful when it came to us getting snowed in. They helped us by shoveling the driveway and making sure we were able to leave safely. Thanks again for having us!

We had a great stay at the Redwood Lodge. It is exactly as described! The private sauna and hot tub were the highlights. The bed is very comfortable, and the lodge is well stocked with all the essentials and more. David is a wonderful, generous host. There's plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed hiking at Buffalo Mountain, checking out the shops in Floyd, and visiting the farm store at the Floyd Ecovillage.

Great stay, just what we needed. would recommend coming well equipped, it's remote and not the most well stocked rental.

What a wonderful get away! Our family stayed here about 2 years ago and had such a wonderful time. We couldn't wait to get back and it didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful stay and weather was great. Such a wonderful peaceful place. We always feel right at home. Craigs Creek is such a beautiful clean creek. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just hanging out in the water. Definitely will be back again. So thankful this host shares and blesses others by offering their place to others. For being where it is, Wi-Fi/internet works great and there is even a landline! Thanks again

Rhonda's airbnb was absolutely perfect for my fiance and I to stay at while we visited my extended family. Just a short 10 minute drive to get almost anywhere in Roanoke, yet just outside the city enough to have a beautiful quiet peaceful stay. The house was small and cozy, just what we needed. Rhonda was proactive in reaching out to us before we even checked-in, and was quick to respond whenever we messaged her. She even provided us snacks and a long list of recommended restaurants, hikes, and places to see. The dogs nextdoor barked whenever we entered or left the house, but as soon as we were inside they stopped, thus never diminishing our stay. In fact my fiance commented several times about feeling safer with them there, knowing they would bark if any strangers showed up without our knowledge. This never happened but the thought of it was comforting to her. Overall we had a wonderful experience staying at her house, and fully intend to stay again in the future!

This place is fantastic! It was as described. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our pup enjoyed all the running and playing room. The trails were very nice and the area was neat and well kept. The hostess was super communicative and gave us lot of information about the area.

Beautiful location and comfortable cabin for our family of 5. The weather was cold and wet while we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the ample outdoor space, but it looked nice! It was cozy and warm inside with a fireplace and plenty of room to relax. The kitchen had everything you need to fix meals, and the vineyard tasting room is right next door. Would love to visit again in the summer.

Loved our stay here. It was cold out so we didn't get to enjoy exploring the property as much as we would have liked, but the surroundings are lovely, private, and peaceful. The cabin heats quickly and stays warm. The complimentary coffee supply was much appreciated. Shower gets hot and has great pressure. Would definitely stay again!

This was one the best ABNB I have ever stayed in. Beautiful house. Great hosts! Clean. Quiet. Very nice linens and towels. Lots of snacks and coffee choices. Everything was so comfortable. I would steal the recliner if I could. lol.

Amazing peace and tranquility. We do enjoyed visiting with family and enjoying just being together without so many distractions. Great space, great views. Walking trails are nice. Loved our time spent.

I reserved this airbnb for my husband and 2 other workers. Its a very nice home. The guys enjoyed hot showers and good heat. Host was nice and gave good instructions on how to arrive to the home.

This cottage was perfect for our weekend in Lewisburg, we would definitely stay again! It is cozy, comfortable and so convenient to the downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen is compact but has all the amenities of a full size kitchen. The decor is tastefully done and feels right at home in the cottage atmosphere. Our only regret is it wasn't nice enough to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

What a beautiful and peaceful space. We had such a wonderful weekend on the lake. The Boat House was just perfect for the 2 of us. The lake is just so lovely and the house was exactly as described. We felt so comfortable and right at home. We're already working on planning our next visit!

This was an amazing air bnb experience! Jim & Debbie were extremely kind and welcoming. The views were so stunning , and natural bridge & blue ridge were a short drive away as well as the safari park. their animals ( especially jasmine) was the cherry on top of everything!

The Little Red Barn was beautiful and very comfortable. The views were amazing from the great room and deck! Already planning our next trip!
