Casa del Sole

ChristianRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a great time at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and pool were real pluses. Not to mention all the little touches that Carlo had for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The accommodation is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

Beach villa great view, chill space, dogs welcome

LiviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay in this house. Our family of five stayed upstairs and grandma could comfortably come dine with us then retreat to her own apartment downstairs. The kids loved having the beach just a stone's throw away and the fact that you can walk into town via the old train line is really great. We had everything we needed to dine in, though one of the best restaurants we ate at during our stay was a local recommendation that Michela made. We used the house as a base to drive around the island looking for secret beaches and exploring the surrounding towns then would return in the evening to drink wine in the secluded garden. It is really a great property!

Paluffo Tower House

BrianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a fantastic stay (family of six). Only disappointment was having to leave. The setting and hospitality was great. The stairs within the tower unit proved a little onerous but only added to the historic feel… plus the view once on top made the climb more than worth it. Also, the cooking class with Monica was terrific. She was excellent and very patient and playful with our children. We hope to return again soon.

ErikRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Aurora was a very responsive host and accommodated any needs we had. Place was as listed. About 30 min to downtown by bus. Be aware of the last bus back to the air bnb as we missed it and had to buy a taxi back. Overall a good place to stay if you want a peaceful stay outside of the city.

Farmhouse in the vineyards. Elba

FionaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We felt extremely comfortable with Italo and Simona. We were welcomed by Italo on the first day with homemade pizza, which we greatly appreciated - especially after the long trip with child this was very pleasant. He also had already provided us with his own olive oil and wine from the winery. In addition, he and Simona kept bringing eggs during the whole stay and there were even gifts for our 3-year-old daughter at Easter. The two are really very accommodating, nice and very lovely - we enjoyed the time with them incredibly. They were also always available if we had any questions or anything else. Our daughter was still allowed to borrow some stuffed animals and she had a huge joy in the cats and horses who lived in the vineyards and roamed the garden from time to time. The house was very nice, super clean and very well maintained. The kitchen had a huge stove and was very well equipped. Glad to come back!

Caterina's place is in an ideal location and the internal parking for those like us traveling with a dog and all the luggage is an element that makes a difference. The apartment is well cared for and functional, very clean and quiet. Caterina is a perfect host, very accurate and available for clarification, suggestions and information. The location is strategic to reach any attraction in the city.

CaseMaggi Florence Historic City Center Apartment

MelissaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
CaseMaggi was our perfect home base for a week. It was lovely (just as pictured), a good size for 3 adults with all the amenities you could want and more! An easy walk to groceries, cafes, restaurants, farmacias, Piazza Santa Croce. Hosts were so helpful, especially when we got sick, making recommendations and even helping us cancel a dinner reservation we otherwise would have been charged for. Only 2 things we didn’t love. The bedsheets were rough/scratchy (being sick, we spent more time in bed than we would have liked). Also, street can get noisy at night (especially Saturdays). There’s a restaurant (a great one, we went there!) directly below and a bar on the corner. Lots of vehicle and people noise till the wee hours, hard to shut out even with windows closed. But neither issue was enough to detract from our trip. Florence is amazing, Margherita and Michael were wonderful hosts, and CaseMaggi is the perfect place to experience it! We’ve already recommended it to friends!

Nico & Spina's place@Sant'Ambrogio(free city tour)

HelenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in Florence no small thanks to our home away from home and to Nicola for being so professional but also very kind and considerate! Nicola was always easy to reach whenever we had questions about the apartment and was also kind enough to give us a few pointers on unique places to go in Florence for sightseeing and for eating. The apartment is spaceous, well maintained and clean, about 10-15 minutes' walk from the centre, has plenty of facilities and homely interior. Our only minor grievance was the bedroom window which was not very soundproof and due to some temporarily redirected bus routes, it could be a bit loud during the night. We had booked a stay long enough for us to take Nicola up on his offer on a free tour. It felt personal, unique and lasted for close to 3 hours' time. It was engaging and at a pace that allowed us to take it all in. All in all a wonderful experience! Many thanks to Nicola for an easy transition from work life to bucket list holiday!

Dimora Ottavia

EléonoreRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The accommodation is very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment to feel at home! We were hosted very well and we really appreciated all the touches left by the whole family (Nonna's pie is really delicious😋). The neighborhood is quiet, 2 steps from the train station, but without the noise of trains and we slept very well. It is very easy to access the city inside the ramparts on foot (20 minutes from Place du Duomo). We were able to park the car in front of the building without any problems. We sincerely recommend this home!

We loved Franco's apartment and its location! Manarola is one of the five beautiful villages in the area also known for its vineyards. We were able to taste a bottle of Franco's vintage. He is very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is well equipped (cutlery is in the table drawer ^^), is very quiet, spacious and comfortable. 5 stars for its host and accommodation! Thanks again to Daniela for her warm hosting. Hope to see you soon!

Mercutio 3 Rooms & 2 Bathrooms

KimRating, 5 stars6 months ago
One of my favorite AirBNB experiences. Marco and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts - Lorenzo met us at the door and showed us around. We had a lovely bottle of wine and snacks as a welcome gift. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the living room quite large. The 2 bathrooms were a godsend, as I was traveling with my 18 year old niece, and she definitely enjoyed the privacy. We made good use of the washer and dryer, as we were halfway theough a 2 week trip. I loved every bit of my stay - not one thing I would change. Simply wonderful!

Casa di Martita

FedericoRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The host Marta has always been super kind and helpful, even before check-in. The accommodation has recently been restored with modern and quality materials. The location is fantastic: the beach (even the free one) is very close and convenient to reach, and the center is a few minutes' walk along the seafront (Via Italia). Great restaurants in the immediate vicinity and Conad right in front. The only two flaws in my opinion (but I want to clarify that they do not depend on Marta, of course!) were: especially on Friday/Saturday evening, the neighborhood is a bit noisy for rowdy kids and roaring scooters, also because unfortunately exactly in front of the accommodation there is a porch that makes voices and noises echo, but luckily Marta has equipped the accommodation with windows that, if closed, allow excellent sound insulation; the building is a bit old, certainly not up to the apartment. Overall we were very satisfied with the stay!

Air-conditioned T1 bis 50 m from the beach + private garage

AnnelyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We stayed for 3 nights in Calvi in Isabelle's apartment. The apartment is very practical and completely fulfilled its purpose for the 3 days. There is a pull-out bed for 2 persons and a sofa bed for 2 persons. We all 4 stayed very well on the beds. In the kitchen there were a lot of cooking utensils (salt pepper noodle rice, etc.). There was also an entire closet with swimsuits (swimming noodle diving goggles, etc.). The parking space that belongs to the apartment is in the complex next door and even lockable. The complex is located at Résidence Pinea. There is a German church community there , so there is a lot going on. Worship, entertainment for all ages, spirt activities, etc. We didn't look at it more specifically. Downtown is within walking distance, about 20 minutes. The beach right by the house was also very nice. However, we were only at this beach for one day and the other two days somewhere else.

TOSCANELLA STUDIO TOPAZIO

EuniceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was very clean and tidy, and all the simple amenities were provided. We had a small issue regarding an appliance, but the host was incredibly responsive and reassuring, and gave us good guidance on any of our questions. We really appreciate the host being transparent with the services of the space, such as the laundry and showers (basically the washers are 1 euro for 30 minutes and to wait a bit if we're doing back-to-back showers). Also the bathroom door doesn't have a lock, so anyone who's staying should be fine with that. The location was within walking distance to much of our activities, and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. Overall, we really liked the place and recommend it to anyone who is interested.
