The Orchard - Refurbed Studio w views of Clew Bay

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Clew Bay was outstanding to stay at. Patricia was extremely welcoming and helpful in helping us get settled in. We had to hunker down a bit to wait out Storm Eowyn but Patricia invited us into her personal home for some delicious scones and tea. The surrounding area is also very serene and beautiful. We had a direct view of Clew Bay and it was only about a 20 minute walk to get into the Westport city center. Would love to stay here again!

You truly couldn’t ask for a better location! The apartment itself exceeded all our expectations. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a cozy haven that feels like home. Every corner of the space is beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. You can tell Laura has put her heart into making this place perfect for her guests. Speaking of Laura, she is a fantastic host! So friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. She made our stay extra special with her warmth and hospitality. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a serene, cozy escape by the sea, I highly recommend staying here. Five stars all the way! 🌟

It was our second time staying in Susan's and Sean's and we would certainly stay again. I cannot fault the place it was cosy and warm and the fresh milk and brickies were a lovely touch. Susan went above and beyond to make our stay as seamless and comfortable as possible. With just a 5 minute walk into the town centre it was a great location with plenty of parking in front of the accommodation.

Furbo Suite, at the Granary Suites

DianaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Irene's place offered unmatched views in Galway. River Corrid from living room and bedrooms. Great reading nooks. We got to see the seals at highs tide (as Irene told us). She accommodated extra linen we needed and met us when we left. Quick to respond and great suggestions in her book. It was plenty space for the kiddos to play around. mind the steep steps (something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues). Overall the location and views are unparalleled. We can't wait to come back

We had an amazing stay at Michael's cottage! Ann was absolutely fantastic, she greeted us with a freshly baked cake and fresh eggs from her own hens and she made sure we always had enough turf and helped us light the fire during this particularly cold spell. The cottage is warm and cosy and perfect in every detail and it's so homely we found it extremely hard to get off the comfy couch by the fire and get out to explore the beautiful surroundings, the stunning views from our windows constantly tempting us! Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Teresa’s Airbnb! We traveled with our dogs, and from the start, Teresa made us all feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and kindness made the experience feel like a true home away from home. Unfortunately, we had a minor accident that caused some damage, but when we reached out to let her know, Teresa’s only concern was for our well-being. Her understanding and compassion really sets her apart as a host. If you’re looking for a place where you and your furry friends will be welcomed with open arms and genuine hospitality, Teresa’s place is it! Highly recommend and can't wait for our next stay!

we loved our stay, perfectly situated on the lake with plenty of room to roam, the nearest recommended salt water beach is almost an hour away but it's a really beautiful drive and we'd recommend it, plenty of nice food options along the way. Patrick was incredibly helpful and we thought it was a very fair price for what we got.

We had a fantastic stay in Padraig’s place. The house is great, really well equipped and spacious. We arrived on a wet and wild afternoon in January and Padraig had the fire roaring for our arrival. Our dog was also made very welcome! The location is fantastic if you want to get away from it all, yet Belmullet is less than 10 minutes drive away. Lots of great walks and beaches in the locality too. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

The Chrish Westport - In the Quays 2 bedroom

DedeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Christines place was amazing. The view was fantastic and the location was great- close to lots of restaurants. It was loosely walkable into Westport city Centre but up very steep hill. The only other issue we had was one of the doors was hard to open/close in the bedrooms. Other than that the place was stunning and we had a great time!

Spotlessly clean, warm, modern and comfortable accommodation. Close to shops, pubs etc but despite central location in town, it is very quiet. Canal with pathway on the doorstep so you can enjoy your morning walk safely. Cormac super helpful. He replied very quickly and gave helpful local knowledge about nearby restaurants etc. Really enjoyed the stay.

Lakehouse Apartment with Hot Tub and Sauna

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The view from the window is scenic. The place is quite and serene. The hot tub overlooking the lake is an amazing addition to the the experience, it reminded me of Iceland with its hot springs. The house was clean and an interior is stylish. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We visited a week after the storm hit Ireland. There was no electricity in the area, and the house was supplied through the generator. It was quite far from the house so there was no noise or smell or any discomfort around it. Sauna is infra-red and wasn't hot enough to allow swimming in the lake afterwards. Mary was very kind and welcoming host, it was a pleasure to be her guest. I would recommend staying in this place for anyone considering.

Harbour Mill Westport apartment.

CatherineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Catherine's place is very organised and clean. The building it is in in very quiet and there is parking which is a plus. If you are a happy walker, then getting to the high street is no problem at all. We walk a lot, but did land up driving in to town for dinner because we weren't sure about walking back late and the weather was not overly cooperative. Very quick drive in - under 10 mins. It was about a half hour walk to the high street through a lovely park and just over half an hour walk to the start of the Parkrun up the Western Way if you are interested in that. Both can be driven. It's pretty busy in town, so finding parking just on the side of the street during the day was interesting. Rather walk. If the weather had been a little less wet, we wouldn't have used the car at all.

Our stay at Helen's place in Foxford was perfect. The amenities were as stated on the website and the location was ideal for being walkable to the town. The apartment was clean and warm and being right on the river was very peaceful. Having the washer / dryer combo unit and dishwasher available was extremely helpful for family traveling. Wifi signal was strong. Parking was directly outside the entrance door to the building with no issues. Thank you for a wonderful stay over the Christmas holiday. We hope to book again during our next trip to Ireland.
