Absolutely gorgeous location right across the bay from Skye. Numerous wonderful walks from the house and in the nearby valley. Local shop and pub in walking distance. House is as described. If youre looking for luxuries or that squeaky clean finish, this probably isnt for you but if you are happy with a warm, cosy base with all the necessities you will enjoy your stay here. Very much like staying at your elderly grandmothers! If you are picky about your linens, i would recommend bringing your own towels or sheets but there are plenty provided. Murdoch is extremely warm and friendly and offers a myriad of information about the house and local area making it very easy to enjoy your stay and find the things that interest you. The train station is a fantastic place that is super quiet and very much so a home. I've never relaxed faster in an airbnb but with its peaceful atmosphere and really unique personality, I had no choice but to really enjoy my time there. I'll definitely be going back.

We had a great stay in Julie’s apartment over the weekend, Julie is lovely and very helpful! We wish we could have stayed longer!

The most perfect stay for two newlyweds to relax after a busy wedding week!! The area was gorgeous and log fire made it the most amazing retreat. Joan was also fabulous with communicating.
