Ankit and his family proved to be great hosts for my stay. The place is super compact and comfortably adequate for a single person who maximizes their time outside. Towel, bath essentials and a kettle are provided. Meals are provided upon request - have a chat about available options. The hosts also provided recommendations for sweets, spots and shopping around the city. The house is nestled behind a warehouse-sized gate that also houses a super small scale manufacturing unit of some product - expect some commotion in the wee hours. By lanes are a tad dimly lit but always with people loitering around, so it's not completely uncomfortable. Auto and bus are a 7 min walk away, metro a 5 min ride after that. Overall a worthy stay if you're looking for minimalistic amenities and wish to only crash by yourself (maybe a +1 if they're comfortable with small spaces).

But for the initial and unpredictable glitches, staying at Vineet & Jemmie's flat at Alcove, Serampore, was heartwarming, & I'd surely recommend it even if blindfolded. I take this opportunity to thank the hosts, & look forward to an opportunity to be their guest once again. Wish them their Dwitiya soon.

It was a memorable experience overall to be at the home. The host is very friendly and supportive all the time. The place is amazing and neatly decorated keeping in mind every minute details. Would love to visit again and again.

It’s rare to find such a combination of professionalism and genuine hospitality. I couldn’t have asked for a better host and would highly recommend her place to anyone. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!
