Yorkshire countryside Terrace

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Gary and Julia were very helpful on checking in, showing us around the cottage and providing us with helpful information. The cottage itself is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It’s a lovely cottage in the countryside but close to lots of amenities and activities. The house was clean and well supplied. Hopefully will be back again, maybe for a longer stay. Thank you

Excellent stay, only thing I would have liked better would be the height of the ceiling in the games room, none of our group could stand up straight in there

We loved everything about our stay! The house was spotless and so welcoming and cosy. I stayed here with my grandad to see family and everything was accessible for him. The host was friendly and keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were sad to leave and already can’t wait to come back!!

Snug, comfy, quiet and superb location - all you could ask for when visiting Haworth! I had a great stay and a wonderful time! The cottage is delightful and in easy walking distance of key sights! Cozy 2 bed cottage

AntoniaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very happy with my choice. Cottage felt like home from home. Kitchen was well equipped with top of the range appliances and utensils. Both felt rested after the break due to the comfort of the beds and the peace and quiet of the area. Jackie was a great host, at the end of the phone for questions and advice. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful, stylish ground floor Georgian apartment

AlusiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

A warm comfortable & homely escape

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a fantastic stay in Hebden. The property is so homely and feels like a really authentic experience. There are two main walks into town - a scenic waterside route along the canal and a fantastic one along the main road which takes you past a lot of local homes with displays in the window. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Central 1-bedroom apartment with parking

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just got back from a few days away in York. Russell’s place was very convenient for the city centre and the car parking space was a real bonus: we didn’t use the car once and knew it was safe. The flat has everything necessary and we were extremely comfortable. Communication was spot-on and we appreciated the helpful advice on the best places to eat. Sadly, there just wasn’t enough time to try them all! We hope to return to explore further.

Large country house and garden 4 bed• 3 bath

AndyRating, 5 stars20 months ago
My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.
The villa's exterior is showcased against a backdrop of blue sky and fluffy clouds. The two-story building features multiple large windows and a balcony, providing ample natural light. An expansive lawn surrounds the property, complemented by greenery from nearby trees.

Beautiful 'Mayfield' Villa with private pool!

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.
The image depicts a lush green pathway lined with a stone wall, leading towards a whitewashed cottage. The cottage is partially obscured by trees, with a garden area visible in the foreground, showcasing well-tended grass and a small bench for outdoor seating.

Idyllic Cottage Area Outstanding natural Beauty

KateRating, 5 starstoday
Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. Thank you so much for having us stay in your lovely cottage we would love to return for a longer visit. Thank you. Kate.
