PAL.MAR is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of San Pancho, just three blocks from the beautiful beach and one block from the main avenue. It has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect to relax in the tropical courtyard and pool. PAL´ ESTE is a small room with a queen bed, located on ground floor next to reception (can be some noise), with easy access and close to reception. It has a nice terrace to sit outside, a small fridge and a coffee maker, coffee and sugar are provided.

We enjoyed this location because it was directly on the beach. it was easy to get transportation to and from the resort to the central area of the city or the marina. We chose not to participate in the resort’ all inclusive dining but rather to try restaurants all over the area. We had difficulty one night accessing the resort due to heavy flooding. Dee was available when we had some difficulties at check-in. Seemed to be resort’s mix-up.

Frannie was away, but in touch with us in case there was anything we needed until her return. Everyone was friendly and helpful including other guests we are keeping in contact with. The location of Suites de Mita is at the end of the bus route which we used to arrive and depart as well as our day excursions to La Cruz and Sayulita. The two main streets have shops that cater to the guests from the private resorts nearby, but the shops and restaurants in the local part of town were easy to walk to and worth the savings. We always eat a meal or two at Teresa's Tacos (inexpensive and BYOB). WiFi was exceptional, so working remotely is certainly an option. This is our 2nd stay in Punta de Mita and not our last. We will be booking the Suites de Mita every time we return. Thanks Bon & Frannie for a wonderful vacation!

The hotel was just lovely. Thee view over the church of the ocean was perfect and the balcony was wonderful to relax on in the morning and evenings. The place is unique, tastefully decorated, and the staff was more than helpful! At one point I messaged our host through the app asking where we could buy a couple tiny screws for our broken luggage, within 30 seconds he sent his staff, Ramon up to fix it! The downtown area is a little noisy, if that's something that bothers you, I might suggest bringing ear plugs, but totally worth it for the proximity and ambiance.
