This, for me, is exactly what travel is all about: you leave your comfort zone and find warmth that revitalizes your sense of the human family. Despite the freezing Scottish temps, I had a blast with plenty of laughs and serenity. On a 4 month trip across Europe, this stands out as a highlight and I can’t wait to come back and see Jake. He is the real deal and just an amazing guy to be around—extremely helpful/accommodating and a wealth of knowledge and insight for whatever legs you have left on your journey. Jake, I can’t thank you enough for those few days! Stay warm, brother, and I’ll be sure to stand close to everything I wanna see!
