Nice place, great location and comfortable. We stayed for a week and everything went very well. Scot was very friendly, I highly recommend it.

Cosy, comfortable, well equipped with items of quality, extremely comfortable beds, dog more than adequately provided for, basket, beds, dishes, toys..., would strongly recommend

We had a fantastic stay, the house is so so cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and throughout you are left needing nothing, even milk and prosecco were waiting for us in the fridge! We invited a couple of friends over for drinks and everyone commented on how lovely and cosy it was. Tom was very responsive and proactive in making sure everything was just right for us. Highly recommended.

Felt really welcome at Carol's. The weather was really miserable so we stayed inside and just chilled in front of the fire. watched some movies and we were warm and cosy. Carol was very gracious to not rush us out at check in as she had no other guests checking in. we appreciated the friendliness. would really like to go back again.

Perfect venue for a few days exploring Whitby with our two boys and their grandparents. Loads of space, extremely comfortable, gorgeous bathrooms, lovely views end a nice walk into the main areas of Whitby. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely place. Quiet location, clean, warm and inviting. Tastefully decorated and welcoming touches including breakfast provisions and chocolate! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

What a fantastic place to stay, loved the decor and the house was warm and inviting as we arrived. Close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the town and train station. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived during cold snap to a warm and cosy cottage. Perfect! Extremely clean with all you could need for a relaxing break. Few minute walk into town. Comfy beds with fresh crisp linen. Slept like a log 😊 2nd visit and hope to be back soon

Fabulous old farm buildings set inBeautiful picturesque setting, looking out on the Moores and farmland. There were cows when we looked out of the window and chickens clucking around the yard. But really private as well. There are walks from the cottage across the farmland, when the weather is nice and the log burner stove making it really warm and cosy in the evening when it feels a bit chilly. The cottage had everything that you need for your stay, and was immaculate. The main bedroom has a traditional bed frame, which we thought may be a bit creaky, we needn’t have worried- the bed was very sturdy, comfortable and didn’t squeak at all. Really handy having a sink in the bedroom too. Loved all the farm implements that were around. Loved the oil lamps converted to electricity. Would love to know more about the farm’s history. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just had a lovely holiday at FoxHall Farm celebrating our golden wedding anniversary with our family . Amazing property with great views across the country side from every window. Unfortunately we had an unexpected guest “STORM DARRAGH “ but it didn’t dampen the holiday. There was a cupboard full of games to enjoy and a lovely hot tub to unwind . The place was quite cozy and quiet. We might have arrived during off season so there weren’t many other families around us. John and Rachel were super friendly and very responsive. There are a lot of cool paths to walk around as well.

Kit was so friendly and helpful. Her place was really lovely, so cosy and beautifully decorated. Stowaway is so well equipped too. Furniture was comfy and we loved the bed! We had fantastic nights sleep and the area is so quiet and peaceful. Runswick Bay is a lovely place to stay, particularly out of season when it’s not so busy. Thank you Kit, this was the perfect getaway for us.

What a great place! Nice quiet area, both myself my mum and my dog loved this trip. All the things you need were present, great kitchen and lovely spacious lounge/bedrooms.

My stay at Ray's place was great. Very warm, comfortable and had everything I needed for a night away. Ray was very friendly and welcoming, and I felt right at home.

Stayed here last night for the first time and loved it. The log cabin is absolutely lovely, very modern we couldn’t fault it at all. Jamie has been extremely helpful ever since we booked it, keeping in touch and giving us very clear directions of how to get there. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to people!

The cottage had everything we needed for our long weekend. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment you would normally have at home and John had provided items such as tea, coffee, milk and a few beers which was much appreciated. The living and dining room was large enough for 4 adults and our large dog, Sky TV and WiFi enabled us to enjoy nights in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The cottage was well situated for day trips out. We visited the nearby towns of Whitby and Saltburn by the Sea. It is ideal for local tourist spots. The cottage is situated in the town of Guisborough which has several different pubs and eateries, the locals are friendly and welcoming. Overall we have had a fantastic stay at the cottage and I would highly recommend it. Thanks again John and well done.

Was a lovely getaway for a few days. Ann communicted quickly and provided all the information needed to check in. It was nice to go into a warm room and for there to be milk and coffee ready. Would definitely recommend a stay here 😊

We had a great stay. The house was more spacious than in pictures and very well equiped. We were two couples, but it could sleep more. Just a short walk down the hill into town and located right next to the Cinder Track, which is v convenient for runners/cyclists. Communication was all smooth. Would stay again.

We enjoyed a couple of nights' stay at Burnside Cottage, it was easy to find and at a quiet and peaceful location with a secure garden for the dog. There were lots of thoughtful touches inside as well as tastefully and subtly decorated for Christmas. Bed was comfortable, plenty of toiletries available in the bathroom. We did struggle to run a nice warm bath on the first night but on the second night we managed it better, although the shower was sufficient. All in all, we would recommend Lora's place and would book again in the future. Thank you for hosting.
