Felt really welcome at Carol's. The weather was really miserable so we stayed inside and just chilled in front of the fire. watched some movies and we were warm and cosy. Carol was very gracious to not rush us out at check in as she had no other guests checking in. we appreciated the friendliness. would really like to go back again.

I have to say the Coach House was remarkable and the atmosphere of the place isn't really fully captured in the photos; it has so much warmth and character, which is conveyed not only by the age and general look and feel of the rooms, but also by the many artefacts that were strategically placed around the house. Having said that, we had access to all the modern amenities we needed. Needless to say, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. We would highly recommend it.

Michelle’s place was exactly as described. A lovely cosy place perfect for our 1 night stay when visiting relatives nearby. We didn’t make use of all the facilities but the kitchen looked well equipped and very clean.

Exceptional victorian town house, very clean and fully equipped. Sarah was very responsive throughout and helpful.

Fabulous house. Will definitely be staying again when I visit family in Darlington. Very quiet area, but close enough to town. Super clean and fabulous white cotton linens and towels. Was very nice to find some basics when we arrived, I’d milk, biscuits, crisps and fruit. Cupboards were well stocked with coffee, tea, sugar & more. Nice private paved garden. Honestly this house is fabulous!

Had an amazing time, lovely caravan which is a home away from home. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lisa was a great host and would definitely stay again!

Enjoyable stay. Easy access to the beach. Host was flexible with the arrival time . Beautifully decorated for kitchen. Signal was great for data or phone but was quite nice to be free of it. Caravan was lovely and warm .

Fabulous old farm buildings set inBeautiful picturesque setting, looking out on the Moores and farmland. There were cows when we looked out of the window and chickens clucking around the yard. But really private as well. There are walks from the cottage across the farmland, when the weather is nice and the log burner stove making it really warm and cosy in the evening when it feels a bit chilly. The cottage had everything that you need for your stay, and was immaculate. The main bedroom has a traditional bed frame, which we thought may be a bit creaky, we needn’t have worried- the bed was very sturdy, comfortable and didn’t squeak at all. Really handy having a sink in the bedroom too. Loved all the farm implements that were around. Loved the oil lamps converted to electricity. Would love to know more about the farm’s history. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Caravan was immaculate and very homely loved the added touches. The Seaview was a bonus as the children loved it. Our family enjoyed our Christmas in the caravan was a lovely experience. Would definately recommend to others. Great host 5*.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. the place was incredibly well decorated . the surroundings were beautiful ❤️. Best of all the swimming pool and the game room were amazing ,we enjoyed it all by ourselves throughout our stay . My kids were thrilled . If you are looking for a relaxing and tranquil stay I would advise you to spend some time at the red farm. If you enjoy the seaside and the long walk by the bitch Whitby is a lovely town just 20 mins away by car with plenty of restaurants and sea trips. Sandra was a friendly and great host. looking forward to come again . Thanks for your hospitality.

Amazing location, quirky cottage with added bonus of a car park space. Beautiful open fire to give it a homely feel. Communication from Jane and Lucy was great and they were really helpful in answering any questions. Staithes is beautiful and there was a great atmosphere over New Year.

Beautiful home with everything you need and spotless. Instructions from John were very clear and he was extremely helpful when we were booking, especially the restaurant recommendations which we followed and we were not disappointed (Cookfellas restaurant and Brickyard Bakery). Great stay wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Our first stay was brilliant! We have spent many years coming to the East Coast but this was our first stay in Runswick Bay. The location is perfect- close to the bay and the food at the Runswick Bay hotel at the end of the lane was delicious. The house itself is incredibly cosy with the 2 log burners and had everything we needed. A really enjoyable stay, I’m sure we’ll be back!

outstanding location, super comfy, spotlessly clean accommodation and a wonderful host, it was perfect for our week long gateway in the North. The pictures don't justify the true beauty of the place. I would highly recommend Simon's place to explore the Moors and beyond.

We had an amazing time. The location is stunning. The house is beautiful. Perfect for a few people to get together very comfortably. Large dining table where we played games and socialized. Large living room so a few people could gather easily. Enough room for people to take time out as well. Loved the window seat. Everything you could need is there; large range of cooking equipment etc, games, jigsaws. Lots of happy memories made this week!!! Thank you so much.
