From the moment we booked until we sadly had to leave, Robbie was an outstanding host, nothing was too much trouble, even during the big storm,Robbie was amazing,this beautiful magical place has to be my utmost favourite place in the world, and I have travelled to many beautiful places, but boy oh boy every corner you turn on the winding roads is a different scenery of this wonderful land. down to the lochs,pucks glen, glencoe 3 sisters, just drive and you will see that every penny spent on the lodge is worth its weight in gold. Patricia's place is lovely. The living room is so cosy where you are surrounded by books with a view of the sea out the window. The kitchen has everything you need and well stocked. Patricia even left milk, butter and home made bread. I was very happy to see a hot water bottle too! Dunoon is really stunning. There are some beautiful Glen's to explore. Unfortunately most of the trails were closed due to storm damage but I still found lots to do. Patricia was very helpful with suggestions for walks and lent me some maps of the area. Thanks Patricia!

Felt right at home and enjoyed the Cottage a lot. It was a luxury to sit outside and catch the Sun in January.

Simon was never intrusive, but quick to respond with any query we had. The flat has a beautiful outlook over the lock with a large garden at the back which our cat enjoyed. The flat is warm and peaceful, and only 20 minutes from the car ferry at Hunter's Quay with Benmore Botanic Gardens, Kilmun Arboretum and Puck's Glen even closer for long walks. There are cafes and restaurants a short distance from the flat - we particularly enjoyed the Blairmore Cafe and shop - great for late breakfasts and late lunches. Will be back
