Nice, peaceful place. Tidy up cottage, lovely calming landscape from danger. basic equipment in the kitchen, narrow steep stairs to the sleeping loft. The sofa bed in good condition and tidy. The sauna was a cherry on top of the cake with its scenery! Very suitable for a dog mid-stay place to stay.

We had an incredible stay at Esko’s place! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect setting for relaxation. Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Marvelous house at a lake. We loved the peaceful atmosphere. Remote but we got there OK with bus and Aki‘s taxi. Easy and helpful communication with hosts. We can recommend.
