This is a great location in Banepa if you need the convenience of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Several good restaurants, a small craft beer bar, and an excellent dairy are steps away. All this, plus Rashil has managed to create a private, peaceful space with a large courtyard filled with plants, bamboo, and a tree. The decor is tasteful, using environmentally conscious materials that represent the best of Nepali traditional crafts. A lot of thought was devoted to providing various amenities in an aesthetically pleasing way. It's cozy and welcoming. It is also an easy commute to Dhulikhel Hospital using back roads, for anyone volunteering or interning there.

This Airbnb was an amazing spot and as described, nestled up in the Banepa hills with an amazing view of the valley below. The two caretakers of the property were also very helpful and welcoming during our stay, not needlessly intruding unless asked. And the host themselves were very responsive. I would definitely recommend this spot for folks looking for a peaceful getaway in Banepa. P.S. I would recommend coming with a vehicle that has 4x4 or AWD capabilities because the last stretch of road towards the property can get a bit rough for a regular car.

We had a short but comfortable stay! The location and remoteness are perfect for anyone wanting to get away from the bustle for a bit. We couldn’t see the mountains because of the weather but the house itself is idyllic and very pleasant. The caretaker helped us out with an extra heater since it was a cold night! The hosts recommended Gaia (a nearby restaurant) to us for food, which worked out well! All in all, would recommend.

This place is a gem!! Everything is perfect and so meticulously designed. One of the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in and felt right at home! Thanks for opening this space up for others to enjoy.
