We had a lovely time at the Villa. The villa is very rustic and traditional. Paolo was very helpful and responsive. The villa had everything you could need, well equipped kitchen and lots for the kids to do outside. Would consider coming back again.

Stunning Villa with stunning view!

A super nice. The little not perfect things made it perfect. It was pure Tuscany and the pool was great. The house is very old but lovingly renovated - and it is simply quiet in the middle of nature. We had everything we needed. Mathilde was very helpful and super friendly. The approach to the house is exciting to drive, but very nice. We had 9 very nice days here and actually didn't want to leave 😉

Francesca was a pleasure. She accommodated all of our needs and responded quickly to any of our questions. The villa is magnificent, the pool is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We were 15 in total. Grandparents, children and grandchildren and we had plenty of space. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Montignoso.

We were welcomed by the host herself in this wonderful charming and peaceful villa. Perfectly maintained and great pool for the kids. Beautiful garden with lots of fresh herbs to cook with.

We were a big group of 14 people and the place was perfect for us. It is exactly as described, had all the amenities we needed. I can only recommend staying at this place.

Francesca’s home was beautiful and in a breathtaking, peaceful location. There is a short, beautiful walk with Mountain View’s and olive groves to an incredible pool and pool house. She was incredibly helpful in helping us not only access the home, but also in providing us local recommendations. The meal that Ettore prepared for us was one of the highlights of our trip.

Nicole and her father live right next to the Airbnb and are always available for all sorts of help. Their friendliness definitely made this stay a positive experience for us. The almost 300 year old villa is magical, and has so much space for plenty of guests. We loved our stay and would book it again if we are ever in the area again.

Beautiful house, amazing view. A little bit remote but very quiet and peaceful. We were 4 adults and 3 children (3,4 and 7 years old) and we had an amazing time. Caterina and Francesco are very helpful and give as much advice as needed.

Nicola was very easy to work with. She got back to me right away about arrival and crib that was needed. The grounds were beautiful, perfect for my 6 grandchildren to run around, play soccer and swim. The living area was a bit small for our group of 12 but we spent most time outside. There is a wonderful large table outside if you choose to eat there. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was perfect. It’s a 15 minute drive into lucca. Not much to walk to near by. Everyone loved the stay. Children ages 2 years to 10 and 6 adults.

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

Great stay! Could be stated on AirBnB that you had to pay tourist tax to the host, 1 Eur per adult over 14 years per day. A bit annoying to find out when you were leaving.

Massimilianos villa is super located in the middle of nature, perfect for people who like peace and quiet ! We loved the fact that there was no television because we don't watch TV. On the other hand there was lots to do, hang out at the natural pool and watch the frogs or take trips in the surrounding beautiful towns, villages and landscapes. The location is very comfortable, close to the sea and Livorno, to Pisa and also not too far from places like the historic town of Lucca or the mountains north of Lucca. You need a good car, though to weather the rough accessway to the villa which lies off road . The villa lacks nothing, was perfectly clean and pleasant with tasteful artistic design and comfortable amenities. The air conditionining added to our well being in the hot August days and nights. Massimiliano is such a nice, friendly person & was very responsive and proactive in making us comfortable, came to clean the pool personally a few times during our stay! MILLE GRAZIE!

The villa was absolutely above our expectations. The weekend was not just a reunion between old friends in front of a barbecue, we enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, a bathroom for each, spacious common areas with panoramic views and above all a swimming pool and a jacuzzi (with salt water, moreover) to be envied!! Beatrice, as a host, was sociable and impeccable, essential to put us at ease from the first requests by message and all the necessary availability at check-in. Consider the possibility of playing paddle tennis and the surroundings of villages like Peccioli. It should be noted that the villa, due to its perfect maintenance, is aimed at guests looking for a stylish property that offers the right balance of fun and tranquility in an authentic Tuscan landscape. The desire is to return soon!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful, family run, house. The pool and garden were amazing. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the evening overlooking the Tuscan hills. Our local hosts were friendly and very helpful. The house was a mix of traditional old style mixed with a newly added master suite and terrace. We were very comfortable there. We visited some of the local restaurants recommended. We were there for a week and visited Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Gambassi Terme, Volterra and Certaldo Alta. One of the highlights was Certaldo Alto, which was only 20 minutes away. It really was a hidden gem - a medieval hilltop town with a brilliant museum. The house is in a great location with day trips available in every direction. Thank you.

Beautiful rural tuscany setting with superb kitchen facilities for catering for a group.Good four bedrooms with plenty of room for us all.We enjoyed returning to pool after exploring villages.

We had a wonderful time here in the middle of Tuscany. It is advisable to arrive by car, it is perfectly located for the most important day trips in Tuscany. Clean rooms and pool, fast communication, wonderful views of the countryside.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the Airbnb. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and Eugenia was very helpful!

Lovely home and beautiful surroundings. Relatively close (15 mins) to San Gimignano and (40 mins) to Volterra. Friendly reception.

The villa was absolutely gorgeous, in a picturesque setting with a beautiful surrounding property. The home was well curated with plenty of space for our 10 person group. We would love to come back and stay in the future!

We stayed for a week with my parents and our kids. The size of the villa meant we had plenty of space but also the layout allowed us to have fabulous places to spend time together eating etc. the rooms were all large and had their own bathrooms. Beds super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the external bbq was great for the nights we ate in. The pool was glorious - good size and plenty of space and beds/seats around for everyone. But the best thing was the views - you could sit all day and take in the countryside and breathe in the fresh air. The location was great to visit the main cities and sites as well as explore smaller towns. And finally, our host, Tina. She was an absolute gem. So helpful and friendly, great recommendations for places to eat and visit. If there was a prize for best host she would be a well deserving winner.
