My family and I stayed here for 8 nights, and I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, providing us with local information about Pisa and the surrounding area. The house was spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything needed during your stay. The location was a short, peaceful walk into the centre. We loved every minute of being there and didn't want to leave. We would definitely like to come back for a second stay.

Giglio was always available and helpful. Communication in English was smooth. The apartment is very cozy and matches the photos. Giglio is a very friendly and empathetic person with whom we laughed a lot and she welcomed us extremely lovingly and also said goodbye at the end.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, Daria's little cottage is in good hands. But it is also a perfect place as a starting point for excursions. Pisa/Lucca is a quick ride away and, thanks to the nearby train station (Romano/St.Croce, free parking), you are in 45 minutes without stress in Florence. There's not much going on in Cerretti itself, but there's a little supermarket. You can eat well in the nearby places Buti and Quattro Strade. Daria gives wonderful tips, also for excursions, beach etc. and can be reached 24/7. A very lovely host! The cottage is lovingly decorated in vintage - Cottage - Core - style. But you also have to like that, if you expect luxury, this is the wrong place. Those who, on the other hand, love their quaint country life are in the right place. The pool was a treat after long excursions. The terrace behind the house is wonderful for long summer evenings, also Wi-Fi works there. Otherwise, there is everything you need - plenty of dishes, basic amenities, bedding. Like I said, the wonderfully warm hostess takes care of dedication. Value was top notch!

We (7 friends) enjoyed staying at the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She sent us a lot of tips about the area (including the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed something, an answer came very quickly. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings are beautiful. There is plenty of parking space. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

Martha, Thank you again for our wonderful stay at your place! Perfect accommodation for 2 children including 1 baby. We were able to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool, garden, ping pong table. If you need anything Marta makes herself available. I recommend this haven of peace, perfectly located for visiting Pisa, Florence, Lucca. Baby cot on request, high chair too and microwave to heat bottles.

We are very satisfied with the stay in Tuscany. The place was nice and big and met the description. The swimming pool is great and the olive trees that are there make it very idyllic and pleasant. The kitchen is well laid out and has everything you'll need. The family lives at the location and we have seen him and the kids from time to time. The contact was great; we could check in and out flexibly, thank you very much for this. The surroundings are beautiful, you do need a car to explore this.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Carmen and Giorgio's home in the Tuscan hills. Such kind and gentle couple, so welcoming with generous gifts of tomatoes and grapes from their garden. Nothing was too much trouble and they were eager to check we had everything we needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. After mornings spent exploring we loved returning to a peaceful afternoon in the tranquillity of the garden. We would not hesitate in recommending their home as the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

The views are just as good as the pictures! The house was spacious and nicely decorated, clean and tidy. The little town has a couple of small grocery type shops, cafes and restaurants. (Doriane gave recommendations and offered to book restaurants which was great when my phone didn’t work.) It is a great location, in a particularly picturesque part of Tuscany and close to lots of the sites of Tuscany. Would recommend. (If you are a particularly light sleeper and like going to bed very early, I would suggest bringing ear plugs, as the old lady next door has her tv loud, but not late.)

If you’re looking for a city stay in Livorno or to explore Tuscany you’ll be very happy at Andrea’s lovely apartment. Very comfortable, with clean kitchen and bathroom and great recommendations for local sights and delicacies. It has a central location, walking distance from the Venetian Quarter, Marina or Central Market, and an easy train ride to Pisa, Florence, or beyond. I’d happily return.

We stayed with Andrea for a week during our honeymoon. We immediately felt at home. Everything was clean, the view from the garden stunningly beautiful and our two dogs also felt very comfortable. Andrea is super friendly and helpful. The house lacks nothing. We would go back anytime.

The site is beautiful with great views. The real name is: Borgo San Pecoraio. It invites you to relax. Each room is a small apartment with terrace. A bit outdated, but it has even more charm. At the pool bar you can have delicious snacks and drinks. You can play tennis or just relax by the pool. The complex is quietly located in the mountains. A small place with restaurants are only 5 min by car. It's about 30 minutes to the beach. This place is perfect for a little break in Tuscany. Just like you imagine it. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful vacation and I would highly recommend this place. To really enjoy it, you should arrive by car, as it is surrounded by nature and somewhat secluded. However, this is a great advantage, because the surrounding landscape is beautiful and invites you to explore and enjoy. It offers a great contrast to the days when the nearby cities and tourist attractions are visited.

We stayed in this house during the Lucca fair. The hosts immediately welcomed us warmly, along with the very sweet dog Luna, making us feel like we were at home. The house is located above a hill of Balbano, thus ensuring a great silence. Having a large garden, it also has ample parking, which is not to be underestimated. The house is still being renovated so it is a nice house, but with a few small fixes still missing. Overall a great experience.

I am very glad that we got such a hostess! She is very polite, very responsive! We met for the first time, but it was as if we had known each other for many years. We had amazing time at Esther. The house (especially kitchen) is very well equipped, clean and spacious. I love the atmosphere of the house. The village is also beautiful, the rocky coast is not ideal for swimming (with children) but we spent every evening watching the sea at Spiaggia della Madonnina near the house and we loved that. Also great gelateria and pizza (Acqua & Forino) is nearby. And you can take the train to visit Florence!Esther and her husband are nice people and always helpful. Hope we will come back one day :-)
