Gorgeous stay that was exactly as described. James was a fantastic host, we had a power outage while we were there and he communicated with us promptly. The nook is a relaxing and romantic getaway that is still close to so much.

This home is really well located in a beautiful part of South Australia's coastal Fleurieu Peninsula. It is a short walk to lovely beaches, with lots of opportunities to go for walks and cycling. All of the conveniences of a supermarket, chemist and pub a short drive away. There are lots of lovely cafes nearby too. The house is really well set up, with everything you need for your stay in the bedrooms, with games and videos to watch. We loved our stay, great house in a great location, and James really made an effort to make the house cater for holiday needs. James is very quick and helpful at replying. We did a return trip to Victor Harbor and back on the historic Cockle Train from the Middleton Station after our check-out. As well as spectacular views from the train, it's a joyful way to see the area on carriages which are over 100 years old. That the whole thing is run by volunteers is sensational.

Central enough to everything but still in a beautiful, secluded part of McLaren Flat, this place is easy to recommend. It's well-appointed, private, surrounded by gorgeous views and hosted by a very friendly couple who are very responsive if needed. Just a short drive to Mclaren Vale, the pristine beaches or the numerous wineries and vineyards, it's a great choice and I recommend it highly.
