A great place to stay. Excellent location Southsea, close to seafront,local amenities and bus route. Really comfortable flat. Plenty of room for 4.

This place is wonderful! It was in a perfect location to the shops, pubs, restaurants etc and so close to the train station too. Also- the flat was SPARKLING it was so clean, and so beautiful presented throughout. Communication was excellent and the check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend!

Shafi was very responsive and accessible. He made some excellent recommendations for near by restaurants. We particularly enjoyed The Garage Lounge for breakfast and Fuegos for delicious Mexican street food. The accommodation is spacious set on a long corridor with bathroom and kitchen at one end and a large lounge dining area at the other. It was very clean and well appointed and offered everything we needed for our two night stay. Access was well sign posted at street level but is via an external steep flight of steps which could do with lighting, getting my 90 year old mother in law up and down was a challenge each time. The flat is located in a built up area with convenient access to small general stores and a good number of take aways. The guys at Yummies looked after us well. It is quite noisy and light. A couple of the bedrooms are missing curtains (although there are blinds) and are therefore very light. Portsmouth offers endless things to do and we loved it!

This was our second stay here. It is perfect in every way. The Old Exchange is lovely. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Joanne goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and is a great host. We particularly appreciated the food and drink items that were left for us. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

It was very easy to communicate with Mary. The accommodation is spotless and very cosy/warm. Loved my short stay here, would definitely stay again! The milk, cereal boxes, mince pies and particularly the crumpets were a wonderful thoughtful touch, that was greatly appreciated. Thank you Mary :)

Lovely Place, thank you Dawn for everything and being always responsive for everything, she had also parking permits and a fully equipped kitchen (FROM A-Z), towels and even blow dryers in all rooms very convenient for a family to stay we were a total of 7 and we enjoyed our time . Dawn even had board games which was a very cute touch, thank you so much Dawn!

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

We had a lovely stay at Kerry’s house . It was ideal for a family of 6 of us and we’d definitely try to book again if we come to chandlers ford again. It felt very peaceful at the corner of the cul de sack and the house was spotless and had many lovely details that Kerry had put in place that made it feel homely . Thank you Kerry

The house was ideally located for exploring Southsea and Portsmouth by foot. Close to mainly places to eat. Great having off street parking. All the house needs is a dishwasher! Otherwise can’t fault the place

Beautiful property in a beautiful location with the beach a really short walk away and definitely worth it. Andrew and Zoe were lovely hosts, proactive, kind and thoughtful. I was there with my husband, parents, brother, wife and dog. We all had a wonderful time. We kept catching ourselves saying how perfect the house was and wonderful the nearby beach was. It was our Christmas gathering. Andrew and Zoe had a beautiful tree in the living / games room that was stunning. The kitchen was so well equipped I prepared a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings that we all enjoyed in their lovely dining room. My brother said was a great set up for his dog and that made his stay really easy and enjoyable. I think we all would love to stay there again. Really wonderful.

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

a really nice studio with plenty of amenities. David was a brilliant host that was very responsive and accommodating. nice and close to places to eat and visit but also quiet and peaceful if you wanted to relax. first time visiting the isle of wight and would recommend staying here to anyone

We had a great weekend stay at Roman's Retreat. The flat is in a private road with a partial sea view. It is well located on the south coast of Hayling Island. We had great weather so were able to walk along the sea front with ease. On our first night we ate out in one of the local pubs, there were two very close by with other dining options. In the morning we nipped out to the convenience store (around the corner) and grabbed a coffee from one of the many coffee shops. The place has two spacious bedrooms and a large living room with two sofas. Everything you need for a couple or family of four. The bathroom and kitchen appear to be newly refurbished and therefore spotlessly clean. It's a first floor flat which benefits from a small balcony which I sat out on taking in the late September afternoon sun. We parked right outside in the private road which felt safe and secure. It's a great place for a visit to Hayling Island. Louise was a great host, very responsive. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time with the beach in easy strolling distance and an electric charging point for the car nearby it was a great break. Great Bistro Pub just around the corner.

This was our second stay at Fiona's place. We love the location, so close the main centre of Emsworth. The area is very quiet, even though it's central. Ultra close to the local pubs, cafe's and our favourite restaurants. The apartment itself is immaculate, and the quality of the furniture and fittings are very high quality. The welcome bundle from Fiona is a lovely touch and wife loves the generous welcome gift. Thank you. We will be back again soon and we have plans to spent an increasing amount of time staying at Fiona's place moving forward.

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily
