Vacation rentals in Portland Parish

The view from the apartment is beautiful and we loved the area of Portland most from our trip in Jamaica. The place was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped (spices, oil, juicer, air fryer, etc). We were a bit unfortunate with the prolonged rain season and if the rain is heavy it can be very loud in the apartment due to how it’s build. Nevertheless, Jasti and Deme are very welcoming and supportive hosts. Jasti proactively reached out to us regularly to check in on us and giving us recommendations for the area. They live underneath the apartment but were very respectful with our privacy, so nothing to worry there 😊 We didn’t mind the few steps up to the apartment. A normal car will be sufficient to get to the place as well, although the street is quite narrow and turning can be a bit tricky. Jasti offered us their garage to park which made it easier to get around.

Sangela and Jason were welcoming and friendly hosts. They were attentive to any requests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Portland. The villa is beautiful with excellent views. It had all the comforts of home. AND more!!!! The hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail here. The site is very safe and secure!!! A perfect location for accessing cook shop/attractions/town (or an ICE CREAM ;). I recommend a visit to Somerset Falls/The Rio Grande/Winifred Beach/Frenchman's cove/Blue Lagoon/and of course Boston Bay Beach and Jerk Center as well as a fish dinner (close by) at Likkle Portie. Endless amounts of Fun things to do, relaxation, and great new friends to be made! Don't hesitate to book this one!!! Delroy and Michelle were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us comfortable while the island was recovering from the Hurricane. Their property had solar panels and two big water tanks that allowed for many of the amenities to function majority of the time while the rest of the community was without power. Delroy took the time to thoroughly explain his home's infrastructure and how to maximize it's services. The morning after the hurricane, he took us around the community to find local affordable places to eat with generous portions. Their beach was also exclusive since there are not many homes within their cove. We would definitely return if considering this part of the island!
