Family-friendly vacation rentals in Portland

I am a traveling business person and I have stayed at many Airbnb rentals across almost a dozen states and Ray and Mark have put together the most tastefully thought out space I have ever rented it is a for sure choice for all

We were in town for a memorial service and chose Dallas home for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautifully remodeled and decorated the home was. It was a true treat to stay in this lovely home. The backyard is a peaceful sanctuary with a water feature and cozy covered area. The covered hot tub area was our favorite spot, so private and quiet. We stayed in the master bedroom and found it to be very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, even spices and condiments. Overall I would say it’s the best experience we’ve had with an Airbnb stay. Dallas was so considerate and helpful. We had dinner at one of the restaurants that he recommended, Tabor tavern and had an incredible meal with curry mussels and kale Caesar salad and literally the best burger I’ve had in ages. 2 thumbs up 👍

Staying at Therese house was peaceful and relaxing. The home is clean and comfortable. My 2 little ones loved the place. Thank you Therese for sharing your home

This place is an absolute gem! The host, Uladzimir, is so responsive. this home is pristine clean and beautifully updated. It is in a great location. We can't believe what a great deal we got on this home. We felt right at home and everything that we needed was provided. We loved the updated kitchen, the hot tub, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is amazing and the master bathroom is incredible. We hope to be able to stay here next year when we come to visit. It's an absolute amazing place to stay!

This was our second time staying at the loft and we really enjoyed it, especially on a sunny Portland weekend. The outdoor space is abundant and the kitchen area provides a great gathering area for friends. We'll be back again!

Diane's airbnb is conveniently located for us to visit our kids and grandkids, and also anyone who has students at Reed College. We love the feel of the neighborhood, and walking around at night is beautiful around Christmas time with lights on houses. Also, I should add, the bed was very very comfortable. Dianne and Michael made us feel welcome!

We had a great, relaxing stay. Karen & Eric have thought of everything, the spa house is well thought out. This is the place for people looking for relaxation. It is a peaceful, natural setting and you may be visited by deer. Good restaurants not far off. Highly recommend.

Ahmad and his co-host were friendly, helpful & communicative throughout our stay. The house was spacious & very comfortable. We were impressed with how well stocked everything was, especially the linens closet and the kitchen (lots of spices & cooking basics, we really appreciated that!!) I also want to commend our hosts for their communication & thoughtfulness: the only thing that came up during our stay was that 1 of the showers wasn't usable (due to an unforeseen repair delay, I believe). But they informed us before we arrived & offered us a discount on our stay as a result. As well as a few other options, e.x. coordinating a repair person to come out to fix it during our stay. But they emphasized wanting us to have a comfortable stay & that we could choose what we'd prefer, which we thought was really courteous of them. Thankfully, our group didn't mind taking turns w/ the other shower & bath, so everything worked out. :) All in all great stay, would recommend for sure!

Second stay and it truly feels like a home away from home. This home has soul! Rob is very thoughtful and responsive and the house is our perfect blend of old/funky/artsy and convenient/comfortable. Great set up for remote work too. Plus our dog LOVES the yard and toys.

This was the perfect home away from home. I was relocating to the area for work and needed a temporary place to live. This place was close to work, close to downtown restaurants and shops, and was minutes from Portland. Recommend for those looking for a space larger than a hotel with more home-line amenities. Great long-term stay location.

Talk about a gem! This place is filled with so much cozy, yet spacious charm & a real comfort home away from home! This house is a historical beauty, with every room decorated to perfection. It was a lovely stay and I would recommend it to everyone!

Clean spacious and comfortable. Nice to have the option to do laundry if necessary. We arrived late at night and had no trouble letting ourselves in.

We loved staying at Annalisa’s home. It has a relaxed, cozy, lived-in vibe. It’s in a great location near lots of St Johns restaurants and across the street from a coffee shop. We are foodies, so we shopped at the grocery store less than a mile away. We cooked several large meals and found the utensils and appliances in the kitchen were adequate for our purpose. The wifi and tv worked flawlessly, the showers were hot and had plenty of water pressure. The hosts were so kind to let us check-in early and check-out was worry-free.

This place is both spacious and cozy. The neighborhood is really cute. Walking distance from about of restaurants, bars, and shopping in the Mississippi neighborhood, and only a 5 min walk from Light Rail or a couple of main bus lines. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. The home was very clean, while remaining inviting. It was peaceful and quiet, despite being so near a couple of major through streets. If this place is available any time I visit Portland and need a 2br, this will always be my spot.

We really enjoyed our stay with Jared and Stephanie. Great accommodations and helpful responsive host and hostess. We will be back.

I stayed at Ali's for 5 weeks, to help my daughter with her first baby, who lives 2 blocks away. I was very comfortable and was able to make it feel like home away from home. Ali lives next door and has a sweet family and dog who were all fun to visit. The bed was super comfy, great bathtub and kitchen and living room area. Everything was perfect! Lots of windows, beautiful landscaping, sweet neighbors, quiet neighborhood, with a 10 minute walk to Mt. Tabor park, and quick drive/walk to a fab Thai restaurant. Highly recommend!

This is the most well-appointed Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Tamara thought of *everything* we could possibly have needed. I was especially impressed by the kitchen and bathroom. It's a cozy and comfortable layout, with a great bed. I can't speak to the walkability of the location because we had snow the day we arrived, but everywhere we wanted to go was a short drive at most. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at the Portlandia Pad. I was in the area visiting my son for 12 days and Sarah’s place had everything that I needed. It’s in a very walkable neighborhood; close to coffee shops, restaurants and bus stops. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Amazing location to explore Portland from. Everything is within 10-15 minutes away. Our group enjoyed large living/dining area, well stocked kitchen, lots of windows and comfortable beds. Area is truly unique, parking is easy to find and we felt very safe walking around late at night. Highly recommend!

I have stayed multiple times at this property. Each visit reliably features a well equipped, clean space, a bottle of wine in the refrigerator and an accessible host.

Robynn's place was perfect for us. She was communicative throughout our stay. The neighborhood was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Joseph was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided great options during my stay for things in and around Portland to do. His place was perfect and what stood out to me, Most was a full kitchen so I could have meals in the unit versus going out. Having transportation within a few blocks, gives you the option to travel without the need for a car at all times. I will definitely try to stay here if I return to Portland in the future.

What a lovely place to come home to every day. The thoughtful and inviting layout combined with crisp but warm spaces that are filled with light could not have suited us better. We found it so comfortable. The neighborhood is filled with dining options within walking distance and that proved to be a real asset. Laura was also incredibly responsive when I had a couple of questions about the clothes dryer. I heartily recommend this rental. For us it was just perfect.
