Family-friendly vacation rentals in Portland

We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse! Lots of cooking in the beautiful spacious kitchen, lovely walks on the property, and cozy afternoons in the living room looking out at all the greenery. Would happily visit again.

Stayed here for a weekend to visit friends with our two very little ones — just a really lovely house, especially the backyard and hot tub. The crib was a nice amenity; we brought a pack-and-play as well. It’s close to some nice coffee shops, bakeries, and bars too. Would happily reserve again!

Lovely place to stay near the river. Lots of extra blankets and pillows, nice kitchen with plenty of dishes, luxurious shower, and laundry. Upstairs bedroom is comfortable and very warm with an extra foldout bed, and downstairs is great for hanging out. My kids and I had a great time!

The location was very quiet and private, the garden was lovely. The inside was clean and had all the items needed for our stay. Debi was an amazing host. She checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything else. There were snacks and fresh flowers when we arrived! It was a very nice getaway.

One of the best places I've stayed in a metro setting.. .Such a cute and amazing space. Close to everything but still so peaceful and cool above all the hustle and bustle in the loft. Would highly recommend it and can't wait to stay again!

Diane and Michael were excellent hosts. We felt right at home and appreciated the use of their hot tub. It isn't the same as staying downtown, but this was perfect for us because we were looking for a place outside of the city where we could relax away from the hubbub, but still close enough that we drove to Powells and visited one of our favorite Burmese restaurants. We will definitely stay here again because it is what we look for in a short vacation.

Karen and Eric were incredible hosts! They were extremely reliable and very responsive. We ended up having to adjust our days and they were patient and willing to walk us through the process. My husband and I booked this airbnb as sort of a stay-cation after our wedding and it was a wonderfully relaxing weekend. We would absolutely stay here again!

Melissa’s place is such a cozy home and central to so many wonderful shops and restaurants. The hot tub was definitely a plus especially during such cold, rainy days as there is a cover over the hot tub so you can enjoy in the rain if you’d like! Melissa was responsive and a great host.

The cottage was immaculate and exactly what I was looking for. It has the best kitchen I’ve ever seen in the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. I would highly recommend the cottage and would stay there again.

Ahmad and his co-host were friendly, helpful & communicative throughout our stay. The house was spacious & very comfortable. We were impressed with how well stocked everything was, especially the linens closet and the kitchen (lots of spices & cooking basics, we really appreciated that!!) I also want to commend our hosts for their communication & thoughtfulness: the only thing that came up during our stay was that 1 of the showers wasn't usable (due to an unforeseen repair delay, I believe). But they informed us before we arrived & offered us a discount on our stay as a result. As well as a few other options, e.x. coordinating a repair person to come out to fix it during our stay. But they emphasized wanting us to have a comfortable stay & that we could choose what we'd prefer, which we thought was really courteous of them. Thankfully, our group didn't mind taking turns w/ the other shower & bath, so everything worked out. :) All in all great stay, would recommend for sure!

This is a beautiful and well-appointed house in a wonderful neighborhood. I felt at home right away, very cozy and warm. Super easy walk to all kinds of restaurants and bars, two grocery stores. Alright a block away from Hawthorne, the area around the house is calm and quiet. The owners were very responsive and quite kind. Oh, and I don’t want to forget the hot tub, which was a lovely treat, even on a rainy cold day.

Me and friends NjoyEd our stay here. It felt home and we loved it . Nice and warm and spacious. Hot water and a kitchen and living room to relax and listen to music getting ready to go out . Overall great place and we recommend to anyone . It made my first trip To Portland amazing and I got some amazing rest every night my head hit the pillow . Thanks guys 🙏🏾🤗

This place was perfect for a few nights in Portland. Couldn’t have asked for much more!

We loved staying at Annalisa’s home. It has a relaxed, cozy, lived-in vibe. It’s in a great location near lots of St Johns restaurants and across the street from a coffee shop. We are foodies, so we shopped at the grocery store less than a mile away. We cooked several large meals and found the utensils and appliances in the kitchen were adequate for our purpose. The wifi and tv worked flawlessly, the showers were hot and had plenty of water pressure. The hosts were so kind to let us check-in early and check-out was worry-free.

This place is both spacious and cozy. The neighborhood is really cute. Walking distance from about of restaurants, bars, and shopping in the Mississippi neighborhood, and only a 5 min walk from Light Rail or a couple of main bus lines. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. The home was very clean, while remaining inviting. It was peaceful and quiet, despite being so near a couple of major through streets. If this place is available any time I visit Portland and need a 2br, this will always be my spot.

We had an extended stay at Tamara’s and we have stayed there a few times before. We love staying here. The location is perfect, the interior is cozy and beautiful, and it was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s close to great bars and restaurants while being very quiet since it is set away from the street. We particularly loved having the wood stove in the living room—such a luxury! Tamara and Seren are amazing hosts and we would definitely hope to stay at their place again.

The Portlandia Pas was everything and more than what we could've expected! Nestled away in a lovely part of Portland, Sarah's place was walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops, parks, ect. Their home was so eclectic and charming!

Amazing location to explore Portland from. Everything is within 10-15 minutes away. Our group enjoyed large living/dining area, well stocked kitchen, lots of windows and comfortable beds. Area is truly unique, parking is easy to find and we felt very safe walking around late at night. Highly recommend!

Loved this Airbnb stay…. This place was a perfect spot to launch into any neighborhood and the neighborhood itself was also a gem. The coffee shop on the corner just 100 feet away came in handy. Bed was like a cloud, quiet and peaceful surrounding, spotlessly clean and decor and layout was super great! Would love to book Tom & Rachel’s place again next time visiting Portland!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet place. We enjoyed walking in the large park located across the street. We came to see my grandson's wrestling tournament. The communication with Oceana was excellent. Her response to any question was returned quickly. The location is good for the Portland area with quick access to I-5 and the airport.

We have stayed at Robynn’s huge studio many times. It’s comfort, privacy, and peaceful attractiveness make it a “home away from home”. Robynn is a great host—welcoming, always responsive and helpful.

Great spot for our stay, walkable to many restaurants! Property is nicely done and feels very private. Entry instructions are very clear with pictures to assist and hosts are helpful and friendly.
